Guys I crave a fan fiction where Korosensei sees himself in Nagisa to the point where he is scared.
Like, immagine this: Korosensei knew that all these kids had never held a knife in their lives, much less a gun. He felt cocky about it, actually, his skin starting to get the familiar green stripes before he focused on controlling his emotions. If he wanted to be a role model for these kids he shouldn't mock them for their inexperience. He should help them.
Listening to his thoughts he began going around the students, correcting their position as they tried to attack a mannequin. Most of them were awkward trying to hit it, holding the knife in a first completely unaware that this would only make their grip loose.
He finally reached Karma, he wasn't surprised that the boy knew what he was doing, he was a bit rough around the edges but his strength and violence compensated for it all. The polyp didn't think about correcting his position as he seemed quite comfortable in it, only showing him where to hit while letting the young assassin figure it out on his own. Knowing he'd be up to the challenge.
He had read through all his students files and while most had been transferred to Class E for their bad grades only a few had bad behaviour or fights in their backstory... From which Karma. He really hoped he could redirect him on the right path of controlled anger and the beautiful art of killing.
He finally reached the blue haired boy, his eyes briefly landed on him. Being skinny and without much muscular mass he was already preparing himself to correct his legs, bringing them into a more dynamic position, same thing for both of his arms, thinking they were probably dead on his sides, not helping his momentum... This new generation really didn't seem to understand the importance of speed and balance, he had been a pretty skinny assassin himself, despite having more muscular mass than the young boy, so he knew how to handle a body like this.
When he finally opened his eyes, moving his tentacles towards his body he found a perfect execution. Now, perfect was maybe a strong word. Without muscles and cardio you couldn't do much, even with the most perfect techniques in the world but, apart from that, the boy was flawless.
His body moved with such a grace that it looked like he was flying, using his knife as an extension of his body, moving it with such control...
Did he perhaps missed a violent past in the boy's file? Maybe he had some previous training, someone in his close family being a military... But no, he couldn't recall any of that and he had a perfect memory for sure.
He stopped himself immediately, looking at the boy perform, having so many unanswered questions but holding them back, not wanting to come off as pressing or even worse judging!
He gave a thumbs up (or even better a tentacle up) and a small word of encouragement before restarting with his walk.
Weeks passed and Nagisa's behaviour only got more and more concerning. Korosensei was actually pretty used to skilled kids with a concerning amount of blood lust in their eyes, having basically raised the Reaper on his own, but once Karasuma came in the picture he started to see why others seemed so concerned with his level of expertise.
He never tried to hold him back. They were only practicing self defense for now so it seemed useless putting limits where there shouldn't been any...
As self defense slowly became attack he started seeing the problem.
An attack all too similar to his, a step so quiet it was almost imperceptible to the human ear...
That they he was helping the whole class with face-to-face clashes, easily dodging all the attacks while giving feedback to the students... Untill it was Nagisa's turn and...
The boy started with a pretty simple opening, one that almost all of his classmates seemed to prefer. It didn't particularly shock him, just making him more careless. As korosensei stopped the blade from hitting him, trapping it between a paper towel and his 2 fingers, Nagisa suddenly pulled back, creating a hot feeling on the tip of his fingers. It was a weird move. Personally he couldn't seem to understand where the kid was going. He couldn't recall any of the basic knife movements they taught the class to have that sort of motion.
As he was lost in thoughts Nagisa kept going, creating a Scissor like motions, intercepting his libs. Korosensei didn't make in time to process what was happening before he proceded to strike again, trapping him inside his grip.
He couldn't know that technique. He shouldn't be able to learn it. It had so many extra foot steps and big swing movements that a beginner should have just-
A hit of human instinct hit him, making him take both of the kid's hands, holding them both in an uncomfortable position at Mac 20. "Shin-! Nagisa, I meant, you- you did well"
