My name is Rain/Ray(they/he). I am a 23 year old artist and programmer.

This is a blog for my art and for me to ramble about all the thing I am into.

I am autistic so sorry in advance, if the way I say and write stuff sounds weird at times. I do struggle a lot with socializing especially online, but I am trying my best.

I mentioned before that I made an au for twisted wonderland and this post is meant as an introduction to it:

-This wasn't initially supposed to be an au it mostly started as me thinking what happened to Leona in his previous years at nrc and how did he got to where he is in canon. I slowly realized that, if I want to explore Leona as a character, I need to also explore some of the characters he interacts with(so Vil, Malleus, Ruggie and maybe Jack). And I realized: wait! if I add them then I also need to add other characters. In the end, it turned into an au about exploring everyone's lives at night raven. Somehow, I still wondered what will happen after that and this is how this entire au was born.

-Generally I don't plan to changing what happens in canon(I will make small changes).

-I also decided to add slightly more realism to this(for example I gave every overbloter permanent consequence for overbloting).

-There will be some ocs in here since we don't know who the previous housewardens were and they will be relevant, plus a yuu(for now I only plan to add Savanaclaw, Pomefiore, Heartslabyul and Ignihyde past housewardens).

-I plan on adding some ships, but they won't be a major focus of the story.

-When I get to writing the fanfic for this and posting it I will probably have to split it in parts.

The last dorm diasomnia. The theme for them was mythological creatures with the extra rule that only Malleus is allowed to be an actual dragon(this was added because otherwise I would have had 3 dragons)

Small notes about the designs:

-Lilia is griffin, but I did take the creative liberty of giving him bat wings(I know a wyvern will be perfect, but they are still technically dragons). His feline part is based on a margay. Also yes he is upside down because he always seem to spawn on the celling so it felt fitting.

-Silver is an unicorn, it was perfect for him(and is partially the reason for the theme).

-Malleus is already a dragon although like always I used my own design for him.

-Sebek is longma(a chinese winged dragon horse. I needed something that was part reptile due to his crocodile inspiration and this just fit). I gave him a crocodile tail instead of a dragon one.

My thoughts on them:

-Maleus my 3rd favourite character. Honestly never thought I will actually like him as a character when I first saw him in the game(mostly due to his design and description), but the moment I realized he was the exact opposite of that and he has the personality of a giant lizard obsessed with gargoyles he become one of my favourites.

-I have a soft spot for good dads in fiction(or at least ones that try their best to be) and Lilia is exactly that.

-Silver seems so sweet and I always wanted him to get a little bit more screen time since I want to learn more about him as a character(at least we have book 7 now).

-I actually didn't care about Sebek until book 7, which made me actually like him as a character(honestly the best character out of the first years).

Headcanons:

-Malleus, Silver and Sebek are autistic.

-The reason Malleus never keeps his tail when in public is because he uses it as a way of stimming (by wagging it around constantly) and doesn't want to accidentally hurt someone with it.

-Malleus(any) is agender(I don't think he has a gender), panromantic and demisexual

-Lilia(any) is queer. He doesn't care about labels that much so just queer works(also he 100% dated both of Malleus parents and Sebek's grandpa in the past)

-Silver is panromantic and ace

-Sebek is gay, but in complete denial about it

Small update since I haven't posted something in a long while

It's been awhile since the last one, I wanted to at least post a wip(it's just the final sketch) for the diasomnia drawing since it will still take me another day or 2 max to finish it.(I was very busy irl the last 2 months and I had no time to finish it despite having all the paper sketches for this since June)

Finally I got to Ignihyde in my small project of drawing everyone as animals. The theme for them was reptiles

Small notes about the designs:

-since both Ortho and Idia are siblings they both get to be Komodo dragons

-to keep their hair on fire thing I decided to add some scales on them that are made out of fire

My thoughts on them:

-Idia is my second favorite character in this game. I relate to him a lot(not as much as a certain cat, but still). His book is my second favorite so far as well. I can probably write an essay on why he is so amazing but I am gonna stop here for now.

-Ortho is just fun character I love how chaotic they can be at times(kid literally threatened their own parents) and how much they care about their sibling

Headcanons:

-Idia(he/they/it) is biromantic ace and genderfaun(a form of genderfluidity that never encompasses feminine genders)

-Idia is also autistic

-Ortho(they/them) is nonbinary

Continuing my series of drawing all the charcaters as animals we have the Pomefiore students(the theme this time was endangered species) and I decided to also add Neige to this as a separate drawing

Small notes about the designs:

-Rook is a bengal tiger (it was fitting for both his previous and current dorm and for him as a character so how could I not), his coloration is also inspired by golden tigers

-Epel is a red panda, I wanted something that is small looks adorable and in the same time tries to be intimidating(but fails) and red pandas were perfect for this

-I had to make Vil a deer more specifically he is a visayan spotted deer(yes I did spend 3 hours searching for the perfect deer species for Vil and landed on this one)

-Neige he doesn't have to fallow any themes, but I still made him a deer as well, just because I thought it will be more funny if him and Vil were the same type of animal. He is a tufted deer(the reason being they are small and look adorable)

My thoughts on them:

-I adore Vil, I can't really explain it he is just an amazing character

-Rook is just funny to me he is just a silly little guy that managed to traumatized the entirety of savanaclaw. I honestly like how weird he is

-Epel is probably the most fun character out of the first years and I did love his character arc

-Neige has so little screen time in game that I don't actually have an opinion on him

Headcanons:

-I don't care what anybody says Epel has 3 adopted dads(Vil, Rook and Leona)

-Vil (he/she) is gay man

-Rook is pan

-Epel is a trans gay man(just because something about the way he acts reminds me of how I acted when I first realized I was trans)

-Neige is gay

I am halfway done with drawing the twisted wonderland characters as animals in dorm order so here is Scarabia the theme this time was desert animals

Small notes about the designs:

-Kalim is a black-winged kite, it was hard to find something that fits him best(I gone through multiple ideas, until I found this bird that reminded me of him so I had to)

-Jamil is a fennec fox(I could have used a snake yes, but I wanted to do something more interesting + I had the idea of the fennec fox since I first played book 4 and it also fits)

My thoughts on them:

-I don't have much to say about Kalim he is just a ray of sunshine

-I adore Jamil one of the best characters in this game and honestly he does deserve a break

-another thing I like to add is that I love how well crafted the relationship between Kalim and Jamil(platonically speaking) is in the sense that I can't really blame any one of them for what happened in book 4

Haedcanons:

-Kalim is aroace

-Jamil is bisexual

Continuing my series of drawing all the characters as animals in dorm order I finally finished the Octavinelle trio. The theme for them was just aquatic/semi-aquatic animals(that doesn't include their land forms only their merman ones)

Small notes about the designs:

-Merman form needs no explanation he is an octopus. For his human form(or in this case his land form) I decided to make him a rabbit(honestly I don't have that solid of a reason for it I just thought it will fit him)

-I decided to make Floyd and Jade snakes for their land forms(It fits Floyd perfectly and I couldn't pass on that opportunity) as for their merman forms I just gone with dolphins(since they can be menaces and I thought that was fitting for both of them)

-also I gave Floyd visible fangs to make them stand out from their twin more

My thoughts on them:

-Azul is my least favorite character in game, so I don't have much to say about him

-Jade has always been interesting to me, but his signature spell has to be the weakest one out there, like at least it shouldn't have been limited to one time use for each person( I understand that from a story perspective lifting that limitation will just mean that Azul will abuse it, but in an universe where a lot of signature spells are overpowered he at least deserves something that isn't borderline useless in most cases)

-Chaotic characters are always some of my favorites and although they are not close to the top I still love Floyd as a character for this reason alone.

Haedcanons:

-Azul is a trans gay man

-Jade is aroace(I just think he is more interested in mushrooms and exploring the world than relationships)

-Floyd is nonbinary(they/them) and queer(I don't think they like labeling their attraction so queer works)

This is just a small headcanon me and my partner came up with and I had to draw it

Malleus as a small kid tried to pretend to be a gargoyle once and painted himself in grey and then decided to stand on the castle wall trying to imitate them. He probably managed to scare Lilia to death doing this since the best place for him to be a gargoyle was near the top of the castle

Finally got around to draw the savanaclaw guys although they don't need a theme to their animal designs since they are beastmen, the dorm still needs one(due to Rook also being part of savanaclaw initially, so it's relevant when I get to drawing the Pomefiore students): So I just gone with carnivores as a theme

Also added a bonus drawing of Cheka

Small notes about the designs:

-Jack canon wolf design just looks weird to me so I decided to make the proportions more wolf like and also add more fluff(I can't believe he wasn't fluffier in his wolf form when is mentioned multiple times in game that his tail is incredibly fluffy), also added some lighter marks on his belly and paws to make the design look more interesting

-I tried to make Ruggie as skinny as possible since it's mentioned that he can't afford food sometimes(honestly Leona should pay him more)

-for Cheka I tried to make him resemble Simba, but I also gave him some more markings to still look distinct enough

My thoughts on them:

-Leona might be my favorite character in this game, but book 2 truly did him dirty to the point that I disliked him as a character until I got to book 3 that finally gave him the character development he deserved(it's sad that Leona gets more character development in both book 3 and 6 than he does in book 2)

-Ruggie deserves better, he nearly got killed and he has to deal with Leona

-I don't really care about the first year students, but Jack does have his moments

Haedcanons:

-Leona is pansexual, demiromantic(he just doesn't feel any attraction until he gets close to someone) and transmasc(technically nonbinary and transmasc, but I think he will let it at just transmasc since it gets the point across)

-Ruggie is pansexual

-Jack is gay

So here we have the heartslabyul boys as pets(domesticated ones)

What animals I chose for each of them:

-Riddle is a dog more specifically a corgi german shepherd mix(the reason being I wanted something as small as a corgi with the personality of a guard dog).

-Cater and Trey are cats, because it just fit

-Ace is a ferret(idk he just made me think of a ferret so now he is one) and Deuce is a goat(something about his signature spell made me think of a goat)

My thoughts on them:

-I am gonna be honest, but Riddle to me is the least interesting dorm leader(not my least favourite though). I will give him that seeing him say off with your head will never stop being funny.

-I never really cared about Ace and Deuce as characters, yes they can be funny at times and Deuce did have that cute moment with Epel in book 5, but compared to most of the cast, they don't have that much going on

-Cater is just that character that I like for no particular reason

-Trey is probably the only character from this dorm I genuinely care about, he is so interesting, unfortunately he doesn't get that much screen time

And some headcanons, because why not(also I headcanon most of these characters as lgbt+ so this will include those as well):

-I like to imagine that Riddle, Trey and Cater just act like the dorm's dads(Cater is the fun one that also gives good relationship advice, Trey is the one that makes sure everyone is taken care of + gives good general life advice and Riddle is the strict one that makes sure they all fallow the rules and they don't fail their classes)

-There is an unspoken rule in the dorm that if you mess up or break any rules accidentally, to tell Trey immediately so he can deal with it before Riddle finds out(Trey might still punish them in some way, but it's nothing in comparison to Riddle)

-Even Riddle is aware of this, but doesn't say anything about it, after all the less rule breakers and idiots he has to deal with the better

-unfortunately Ace never learned this one so now the phrase off with your head gives him nightmares

-Riddle is gay(he was closeted until he ended up at night raven because of his parents), he is also both demiromantic and demisexual(he just doesn't feel attracted to people until he gets close to them)

-Trey is bisexual with a preference for men

-Cater is pansexual and uses he/they pronouns(he is cis, but doesn't really care about gender norms)

-Ace is bisexual, but in denial about it
