Even Eru’s song was beyond Melkor’s corruptible tune when it came to this decision. Sauron, the dark lord, the once beautiful servant, was no match for this- for her.

For now he realized, there was no besting the want, the edge.

There was only the need to give in to the desire.

To draw all his cold darkness into the her warming light.

Let them mix and be as one creation.

Harmonize and be the balance of all on Arda.

He could be that. He could do that for her.

Be the end and the beginning.

“The door is still open.”

He thought sadly, no….

“The door is shut!”

There was only one truth to this, to that.

She, Galadriel would be the beginning.

While he….

He’d have to be her ending, Arda's end.
