đâī¸ made the banner and pfp from pictures of the sky, taken from a tumblr post about how the sky can be every colour of the rainbow. This is what inspired our name! When we find the post we will link it.
This is a place for us to post whatever we feel like, since the original blog made with our email is for đâī¸, and we want our own space.
There will be children using this blog. They will never be unaccompanied, but keep that in mind.
All names will be done using emojis, like đâī¸ up there ^.
The square emoji shows what group they're a part of, and the other emoji is their personal emoji. Like first and last names! The square can be before or after, the order doesn't matter.
The groups we have are:
đ - Us! Shows we're part of the group. When referring to the group as a whole we'll use đđ.
When claiming an anon we'll add the đ to show you're from tumblr!
Feel free to ask us questions, we love questions. But make sure they're appropriate for who you're asking! (For example, if asking đđ, make sure a young child could understand you).
Everyone is welcome as long as you're respectful. We have no dni but block freely.
This isn't everyone, but they'll add if they want to engage with the blog:
Young Adults - đâī¸ đđŋ đđ
Older child - đđ
Younger child - đđ

Trying to set up the tablet to cater to everyone's needs and ugh... it's not working. Don't know what to do shy of "have different profiles", but then our journal/interli ect won't be synced. (and it will use up more memory to have all the different apps repeated)...
We have different wallpapers but is there a way to do more than that? to auto have different widgets and such on the home screen? Different shortcuts?
With Ampersand 0.3 out I'm very exited to remake my markdown sheet! Hopefully I will be able to get it done soon. (and the mermaid one... thats been put on the back burner due to other reasons)
With that said, If you want to and are able to [emphasis on are able] please donate to Nao. You can find the link to donate via the ampersand website (and the 0.3 release has a "donate" link as well).

I'm not sure entirely what the question is asking specifically, but our little description thingy states we got them from a tumblr post about how the sky can be all colours of the rainbow.
We weren't originally going to do anything with them so we didn't save the post, and now we cannot find it. We also don't know where the op got the images either.
I wish the sky was as colourful as it is in the images where we live, but alas it's generally either grey or blue, maybe partly pink or purple when the sun sets sometimes. Still, it's pretty to photo sometimes

one of the things about being a (probably polyfrag) system is that it's bloody impossible to keep to a schedule.
it's impossible to get everyone who fronts/will front to agree to a schedule, impossible to set up reminders or what have you that actually work for everyone, and impossible to actually have a schedule everyone likes.
what they care about is very different to what I care about, what they need is different to what I need. There's too many of us to get everyone on the same page. And not everyone wants to engage with an attempt to do so!
đđŋ made a widget for us to have easy access to the "important apps" and it has a cool little circle thing that shows how far along the day we are â¨ī¸
and! đâī¸ got a wallpaper changing macadroid from someone in a shared discord and set that up for us, so we can have wallpapers auto applied when we switch fronts in Ampersand â¨ī¸
overall macadroid has been very good, and tasker has been difficult. I think đđŋ got a bit closer with the tasker and kwgt widget but it's not working yet and we like the wallpaper as a compromise â¨ī¸
system hack: if the front is being crowded, call attendance, then ask everyone why they're here & write it down. They will then fuck off bc apparently no-one can speak up to ask questions, they just gotta lurk until they're noticed.

* Figures out what guild(s) everyone fits in: protector, caretaker, little, worker, socialiser, holder, none or unknown *
* Give them all a colour that responds to a coloured square emoji: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, white, (and black for states like blurry) *

* Spends ages sorting everyone in this number system *
* However many days later, ask đđ what guild they want to be in *
* Ay say gatekeeper. Ay're a gatekeeper. Ay want the gatekeeper guild to be pink *

Would have been nice to know BEFORE I MADE THIS ENTIRE NUMBER SYSTEM AND PUT EVERYONE IN IT OMG.
Unfortunately for me my ambition is greater than my skill & I find no interest in less skilled endevours (where I would learn the skills to be able to make what I actually want).

:0 what is "interi"? What does it do? where can I find it? is it in the appstore? What is the best about it? what's the worst about it? :0 :0 :0
Interli is a plural tracking/communication app, put very simply. They have a tumblr (can't link it here for whatever reason) where you can access the discord where you can get the apk - the dev is working on getting it on github & there's someone working to get it on apple. The discord is the only place you can get it for now (as of writing).
More in-depth info below (features, pros, cons & notes).
Features:
- Making members with pfps & personal colours, can add custom fields & can put into folders. Also has links to other things to do with that member.
- Front tracking & analytics (we like the co-front web it makes the most).
- "who am I" section you can fill put to see percentages when blurry (has to have preferences set out in the member profiles first).
- Notes & messages (notes to note things down, messages act a bit like emails).
- To-dos (can have subtasks, put task lists into "bundles", have reoccuring tasks & notifs, multiple options for the "complete" mark. Reset times for the reoccuring tasks can be customised).
- Calendar (Has agenda, day, week, month & year views as well as being able to hide events in certain views. Can pick colours for events, have them re-occuring. Colours are either linked member colour, theme colour or one of the preset colours).
- Mood tracking (works similarly to daylio).
- Mood stats (again, similar to daylio).
- Sysmedia - works similarly to twinote. Each member has their own profile, can post/respond/reblog/like/follow as well as having a dm section where you can dm 1 on 1 or have groups. Can also have polls on there, & send images in dms as well as linked to posts. Can also like dm messages (thank you đâī¸ for that).
- Themes - can set app colours (both general as well as mood colours), can save multiple themes, name them and link them to specific headmates so when they front their theme is shown. Can also set for co-fronting, default & default co-fronting.
- Notifications - custom times for notifs.
- Can choose which page is the start page & which pages show up on the side panel (so if you don't use it it doesn't need to sit there being overwhelming).
- Import & export as well as auto backup.
- Markdowns that appears to be available pretty much anywhere there's a text box.
- Can link spotify & yt vids & they'll show up as a thiny u can click to watch it in the app.
Pros (for us):
- Dev who's actively looking for suggestions & bug reports.
- Dev works to have features that work before adding more.
- Quick update times (updates are generally small bug fixes/adding small features, hence why they can be done so quickly).
- Offline.
- Almost anything can be linked to almost anything else. Members especially can be linked in pretty much everything - helps keep track of who does what & when, especially when using to-dos & calendar.
- The changing theme colour is huge for us personally.
- We personally like how the app looks. It's very "light" looking.
- Lots of things planned to be added (can't remember them all but i remember medicine management was one of the things).
- Lots of interconnecting things in one place (adhd brain appreciates that especially lol).
Cons:
- Will be buggy. Will bug eventually. Bugs are actively worked on & we haven't come across any that have been disastorous but they are there. it's a revolving door.
- Sysmedia accounts that are added but don't have a member connected to them are prone to dissapearing/bugging out. We have a folder to hide our "members" that are purely there to keep their sysmedia accounts stable. It is a near constant headace of the dev.
- There have been issues with importing things. We don't use import so we don't know much about that.
- We don't care about it but there's no friends feature, though i do think the dev was considering adding a peer-to-peer connection so friends could be available while still having it be offline.
Overall we use it for communication & day-to-day stuff not detailed information or journaling. Having different coloured themes & the simple design i think helps us feel more at ease & it feels far less serious than our Ampersand, which is very helpful. There's lots of little things we like but this post is long enough as is.
Notes:
The dev uses ai as a last resort when code doesn't work & they cant figure out why. The app isn't coded using ai it's used as a tool to spot misspellings/grammar ect when the dev can't find the problem. We personally have no issues with this (dev has no ability to see personal info & so the ai can't either & the app is not ai coded) but we know some feel very strongly against ai even as a tool.
Also keep in mind this is 1 alter/headmate (idk the prefered terms they use) in 1 system who's making this, it's as much a personal project they're sharing as it is for the community. They're very open to suggestions & feedback but they can & will say no if they want & they are not "professional". I've heard of hostility towards others for this before, this is not a professional project, do not treat it as a business or whatever providing a service.
Heeeey, what's your favourite plural app/site and why?
That's a very broad question (with different answers depending on which ones of us you ask) so I'll answer it with my personal favourite & then what we're using & why.
My personal favourite is Ampersad. It has good markdown compatibility so we can make pretty pages & set things out in a way that works for us. Part of my job is "memory management", ie writing stuff down/logging it, and Ampersand works wonderfully for me for that. I also just like way it looks & functions.
The others, however, never cared much for it so we mostly use it for information storage rather than active system & day-to-day management. I don't know exactly why they don't care as much but I assume it has something to do with how "non-personalised" & "official" it can feel - It's set up for me & redoing it for everyone whenever they front (& we change front a lot!) is just too much of a pain. We do use it often, for logging & journaling, but it's basically mine alone to maintain (though the others do thankfully keep up with front logging for the most part now, and sometimes they'll use it to put down their more private vents).
We are also, however, using Interli - and this has gotten much better reception from the others. It's less "defined" than Ampersand is, and feels very clean in a very simple way. One of the big wins for us is you can set it up to auto-change the theme depending on who's fronting/co-fronting and this feature alone makes if far more accessible for us. We don't have a specific theme for each of us, but a green is a green and it goes a long way to see the app be an approximation of their colour. It also has a lot more features that are better for our day-to-day management, and they all link together well (very important for us - we don't do well with lots of different apps. Having so many things in one place helps us remember they all exist & engage with them better).
So we use both! Ampersand for information & journaling (+ sometimes more important system descisions) & Interli for moods, management & communication. They fill very different nieches.
Bonus for us they're both offline & made by 1 dev each & both are receptive to feedback, especially around bugs (Ampersand dev I believe is working towards 0.3, and nothing new will be added after that only bug fixes but don't take my word on it. Interli dev is very open & encouraging of suggestions).
On a bit of a side note we use plural kit too, but exclusively for the proxying feature & it's not often. It's just nice to have incase we do want to seperate ourselves more from our discord account, but that's fairly rare. We're still new to the whole "we're a system" thing and so hiding often feels most comfortable/safe.
