Wile investigating through the tablet, Moonlight looked at the description multible time as well as the dead body, wile listening others guess what could have happened, she was still unsure what could be correct, the more she thought deeper, the more confused she got

“I feel like we need more clues, more hints”

she tried to think of more clues, however none were left that werent seen, she wasnt sure if the only option was to dig deeper.

however somthing else popped up: Monokyu. Wile she didnt like Monokyo that much, she was the only one who knew the clues and layout, maybe the only option is to ask her

turning to Monokyu, she spoke with a bit of confusion

“Is their more hints in other rooms, or is this all we get?”

“The other rooms… wait, what’s that about alibis? Like, what were we doing when everything was dark…?”

Dia thought back to the moment the power went out, and how after she thought of the generator, she slowly stumbled her way on towards said destination. She might have been the first to open the door, but she very clearly recalled being one of the last ones there.

“I can’t speak for all of you, but I barely made it to the Electric Room’s door by the time the lights came back on. It’s harder to feel around for walls to follow when you’re floating and all…”

“I… I think we should go with Moonlight’s plan. The Grass Room is just across the hall, let’s start by checking there, and we can discuss alibis along the way, I guess…?”

Was this really happening? Was she standing in the same room as Vixul’s killer? A pit of uneasiness grew in Dia’s gut, but she did her best to maintain a calm exterior as she floated to the door.

Whoops, finger sliped

Monokyu Pointed out that they needed to explore a bit around for clues. However it seemed that they already explored enough around where Vixul’s dead body is, all their was was a knife and voice written on the wall, however that didnt help that much. So the only option to explore is the Fire Water rooms and the indoor garden.

“I guess our only option is to explore, I already checked around Vixuls body and their doesnt seem to be any clear answer, maybe if we explore the other rooms, their may be some clues there. I guess we should spit into groups to explore before the “trial” starts”

She remembers the landscape of the map and starts to think on where they should go, but before she could say anything else, she quickly pointed out

“I dont want to go to the water room, if their is any Deep water in there I DO NOT want to go near that, I know this sounds emmbarasing but i….Cant swim”

After pointing out why she looked at the others

“So? who goes where?”

Monokyu hands over a little tablet to Moonlight. you swipe on the screen to open it. It says this:

Victim: Vixul the Alolan Vulpix

Cause of Death: Blood loss from Gash on belly from sharp weapon.

Time of Death: A couple of minutes after the Blackout. 

Injuries: Slash on Belly, Bug Bruise on the back.

Body found: In the electric room.

“So we’re really doing this, huh…”

With a sigh, she mustered up the courage to approach the dented generator. 

“Okay, so… hmm.”

And then, to the word scrawled across the wall.

“Hmmm…”

Finally, she hovered closer to the ground, leaning over to inspect - but not touch, no way was she going to put her hands on that bloodstained thing - the knife.

“Hmmmmmmmmmm…..”

Beat.

“… Ugh, I can’t make heads or tails of this. Obviously Vixul fought for her life… she - or whoever killed her - must have been thrown into the generator here. It was probably her, because of that huge bruise she has. And if she didn’t write ‘voice’ on the wall - ‘cause, see, no blood on her paws - then that means… her killer did it? But why? What does that even mean?”

The Diancie huffed slightly, folding her arms in frustration.

Was it too late to still hope that this was all a bad dream?

“What I’m wondering is why none of us heard anything,” Alpha said. “I mean, we were pretty close to the room when all of this was happening, and I for one didn’t hear Vixul getting smashed against the generator. Or stabbed.”

His frown deepend. “…And who wrote that ‘voice’ on the wall? Call me crazy, but…if it was Vixul, shouldn’t there be, y’know…BLOOD between where she is and the writing? I don’t know if she can reach that far.”

“Alpha makes a good point, how come we didn’t hear what was going on?” she pauses for a moment… “Perhaps this room has sound dampening material insides it’s walls, I mean we couldn’t hear the generator before either.”

“as for the word in the wall…..ummm” he thinks harder “uuuummm I have no idea what to say about that”
