Radio Tocsin

Hey guys. 

I really don’t post about my personal life a lot, but this is something that needs to be known. Before anyone worries it’s not something to truly fret about or cause any type of worry. I’m just reaching out to this community for help since I know I can’t do this on my own. 

For those who aren’t aware, I recently got into a relationship with @askthepompadourghost / @irregularhunterx. His friends and I have known for quite a while how his home life situation has deteriorated. His family is verbally abusive, he’s been emotionally manipulated by his mother, his younger brother has been known to act out very violently when angered, and he has no sense of privacy. His whole family is treating him harshly, demanding money from him when he has no job, belittling him because he has no job, and offer no support in return. On top of it all, they’ve been withholding personal items of his so he has no chance of leaving (I.E, his passport, bank account information). 

It hurts me to have him go through this, and it hurts his boyfriend @wysterradi as well. (Yes, he has two partners.) 

We want to help him escape his situation, so we plan on flying him to my home. The thing is he lives in Ireland, and international tickets aren’t the cheapest. The goal in this GoFundMe will help cover for his plane ticket, for food when he arrives in the states, and a little something leftover should he need funds for an emergency situation. 

We’re not forcing anyone to donate if you can’t, but it’d mean the world if you can spread this post around. Try to make it blow up. Let other’s know about his situation and see if they could provide help. 

Wysterradi and I want nothing more than to provide a safe haven for our boyfriend. We want to see him happy and be free to live his own life again.

No matter how pristine and oderly Giga city was, it never failed to appear grimy to Berkana. And she couldn’t help but turn her nose the other way when any less than tidy repliod passed by her. Yet, here she was. Standing outside this green neon colored club that sat on the edge of the city. 

But before Berkana walked ahead, she gave a quick glance to the grey reploid. And a small smirk formed on her lips when she took note of his slight unease. Hmm? She pondered, but left it at that for the moment.

He’d duck under the doorways and eventually find himself seated next to her, looking around the place as she soaked in the lively yet tense atmosphere. A few police here and there but they weren’t ram raiding the place which wasn’t awful, half distracted he’d waver and look back to Berkana, pondering her question...

Did he know them?

He’d look over to the booth, tilting down his glasses to get a clearer look through the low lit club.

“You know... I think I actually might.” He’d raise his brows with some familliarity to the face that greeted him. There was a small stare off.

A questioning hand gesture from the DJ... A wide shrug from the silver haired reploid in response translated roughly to “What the hell are you doing here?” and “You ask me?”

At some point in the evening, somewhere unspecified in the repliforce HQ, a perfectly good radio reciever would crackle and fizz with static interruption.

“kk…rr….Hey you st…ill there?” An electronic voice would speak through amidst the auditory chaos until the quality eventually settled. 

“Hey kid, you hit a tunnel or somethin’? My reception was terrible just then.” The owner of the voice would question out in to the air. 

“Identify myself? Yes, Hello Colonel this is DJ Cold. Seems we’ve just had a chance cross of wires, you lucky man!” The reploid would answer with no shortage of amusement. His previous concern thrown out the window.
