I’d like to create an image, photo realistic thick acrylic paint on white canvas. Three main drops of paint 🔵🟡🔴. The red and the blue should like the right and left hemispheres of the human brain but distant and disconnected from each other, a feeling of isolation. But a bright yellow paint drown between them begins to beautifully streak into each igniting life and energy that wasn’t present when they were in isolation, the yellow is bringing the two sides of the brain together.
(after conversion of prompt into electrical signals and then cellular waves, and then light waves for transmission to a data center where the data was then reviewed and processed using energy - hopefully renewable)
A philosophically pointed question, if humanity collectively creates something over centuries and centuries and the result is that you can use your thumbs to write a phrase out to make it look like acrylic paint on canvas, is that still human created?
Humans built the electrical grid, built the worldwide network of fibre optic cables to transmit light around the world that carries our ideas, computer chips invented by us power the phones and the graphical user interfaces invented by us, the gorilla glass invented by us. We use language, invented by us to code, but we aren’t the ones that invented the language we just evolve it. Why isn’t this human? Why aren’t those brains on the canvas a human creation? If a prompt is thoughtful (maybe not the one above), but if it’s written with the skill of a novelist, isn’t the output worth being called human, if you use MS Word to write a book, we still call it a book. Maybe instead of a simple AI Slop label, we need to expand the language a bit more so we can open doors instead of closing them off?
