Little Bits of Lovely

 A different perspective:

Tirzah.

“He delights in her.” Oh, beautiful Jesus, how joyful it makes me that You delight in me, that You call me Tirzah. How can it be that I am Your beloved? I am so in love with You, my Rescuer. I have all I need in You, Prince of my heart, my fragile heart that You’ve taken such tender care of. I long for You, Jesus, and You alone, but all this comes from Your strength, Messiah, not my own. I praise You for Your will and Your glory. I’m so thrilled to pursue You this season, and to start letting you pursue me. Forgive me for resisting Your redeeming love. You’re my Michael Hosea; You’re my whole heart and soul; You are the one love, the one true love of my lifetime.

My Father will bring me back Home; the day isnt too far.

Though it seems lifetimes and lightyears away, my Father’s word is as constant as the stars.

I needn’t cry when He comes, over the world that was formerly mine,

For there are far greater things with my Father ahead than the life I’ll leave behind,

And Lord, if I may dare ask You, if You wish to know my greatest plea:

The feelings aren’t true that say you’re not enough.

The pity is also a lie that makes you think others don’t have it tough.

The weight of feeling alone is made of false foundations,

And the sentiment that God might not provide has fooled most of the nations.

You might not feel Him here, but He can feel your pain.

He knows that trusting in His plan can feel like waiting on a never-ending train.

He’ll always be beside you, even when the world seems like it will end.

Dear  weary heart,

I know you don’t feel very strong.

Dear weary heart,

I know everything seems wrong.

Dear tired soul,

This is a weakness you’ve never known.

Dear tired soul,

Please don’t do this on Your own.

Dear Child of God,

look to your left and right.

Dear Child of God,

He’s also before you and behind.

Dear renewed soul,

Don’t forget what He says is worth more

Lord, help me stop fretting about such fickle things,

For since I know Your love I ought to ignore worries and sing.

The birds, they have much less than I, and yet they whistle Your tune.

How did I forget to rejoice every day because You’re coming back soon?

Lord, Your mercy never ends, don’t let me forget

Father,

I give all of today to You. I give all of tomorrow to You as well. I realize how foolish that sounds, Lord, for the days aren’t even mine to give. Thank You for planning all my days, Lord. You knew I’d be here; You knew I’d be struggling; You knew I’d come to You at this very moment. And You know and have planned for what will happen next. You use everything for good. You make all Your people new, and You make beauty out of our ashes. What promises. What beautiful promises You make. Whenever I feel I am drowning in worldly anxieties and troubles, help me to remember I’m also drowning in Your love and Your good promises.
