OWL CITY  â OCEAN EYES  PROMPTS ( PART 2 ).
â I lie awake and miss you. â
â Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere. â
â Iâd send a postcard to you, dear, âcause I wish you were here. â
â Itâs not the same without you, because it takes two to whisper quietly. â
â The spaces between my fingers are right where yours fit perfectly. â
â I havenât slept in two days. â
â Cold nostalgia chills me to the bone. â
â When I think of you, I donât feel so alone. â
â Iâll forget the world that I knew, but I swear I wonât forget you. â
â I wish I could cross my arms and cross your mind. â
â I wish I broke mirrors instead of promises, âcause all I see is a shattered conscience staring right back at me.  â
â Is that the light at the far end of the tunnel, or just the train? â
â I forget the last time I felt brave. I just recall insecurity. â
â Depression, please cut to the chase and cut a long story short. â
â How much longer can this drama afford to run? â
â All my heavy hopes just pull me back down again. â
â I was blind but now I can see. â
â The end is uncertain, and Iâve never been so afraid. â
â But I donât need a telescope to see that thereâs hope. â
â We wrote a prelude to our own fairytale. â
â Bought a parachute at a church rummage sale. â
â Fought the shadows back down your dark basement stairs. â
â I lit a match and let it catch, to light up the room. â
â Iâll be out of my mind. â
â Youâll be out of ideas pretty soon. â
â Leave your jacket behind. â
â I tried not to yawn. â
â You make my frown turn upside-down. â
â If I was a raindrop, would you be my thunderstorm? â
â Itâs cold so surround me. â
â I feel like Iâm falling. â
â Darling, donât let me go. â
â Will you remember me? â
â We dream of lovely things. â
â We hope that tomorrow brings us our butterfly wings. â
â Close your eyes and cuddle close to me. â
â Iâll try not to wake you, or make a sound while youâre dozing off. â
â That is the question. â
â It refused to stay as it all turned grey. â
â Please excuse the pun. â
â Itâs âhairâ today, gone tomorrow. â
â Be thankful for what precious locks you have. â
â Thank the Lord Iâm not going bald! â
â Rest assured, thereâll be no parting there. â
â Hard cheese to swallow⌠â
â If I had more wigs than I knew what to do with, Iâd open a second-hand store. â
â So there we were:Â back home from somewhere inside my head. â
â Bravely, I fought off the monsters beneath her bed. â
â She took my hand in hers and whispered her love for me. â
â Sheâs the beeâs knees and I am the catâs meow. â
â Itâs funny how she recalls what I canât remember now. â
â She gave me a heart attack, just because she looked so adorable. â
â She got a tan and I got a sunburn. â
â Itâs awkward, but Iâll confess sheâs all I can think about. â
â She held my gaze, and left an imprint on my mind. â
â I tried not to cry as we said goodbye. â
â Youâre the sky that I fell through. â
â Chills run down my spine as our fingers entwine, and your sighs harmonise with mine. â
â I can still feel your heart beat fast when you dance with me. â
â I may as well ditch my dismay. â
â If my heart was a compass, youâd be North. â
â If my heart was a house youâd be home. â
â All my clothes smell like you. â
â I walk slowly when Iâm on my own. â
â Frankly, I still feel alone. â
â This is a world of dreams and reverie. â
â I stared back breathlessly. â
â I barely had the chance to shout. â
â Staying awake that night was rather hard. â
â We woke up buried alive. â
â We both laughed hysterically. â
â It couldâve been just another dream but I swear, I heard you scream. â
â Iâd be your harmony. â
â Weâd sing along with the crowds. â
