As I wait at the airport, just two hours away from my upcoming flight, I find myself reflecting on the powerful realizations I had after watching the Sparks Camp The Reunion. Allow me to elaborate on the nine points I wanted to discuss:

As an individual and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, we have the opportunity to experience love and potentially have it reciprocated. However, it's important to acknowledge that this isn't always the case.

Every one of us deserves to be courted and cherished, regardless of our background or identity.

It's inevitable that not everyone will like us due to various circumstances, such as distance and differences in personalities. Nevertheless, it's crucial to accept and embrace this reality.

I strongly believe that I deserve to find someone who loves me for who I truly am, without judgment, no matter how I identify or present myself.

It's essential to recognize that it's okay to express our emotions, including shedding tears when needed.

We should always remain true to ourselves, knowing that while some may appreciate us, others may not, but authenticity is vital.

Life is a result of our choices, and though things may not always go as planned, we have the power to move forward, overcoming pain and not letting it consume us.

While there may be moments when we feel like a walking red flag, we mustn't allow it to dictate our entire existence and be defined by it.

Undeniably, true love exists, despite life's imperfections. It's important to acknowledge and embrace this truth, finding comfort in knowing that genuine love is real.

June 3, flight to MNL for training.

Yes, I’m part of SANLIYAB!

First of all, I voted for this batch name obviously for its color. Second, the proponent was a friend from Module 1 class 3, who is also bisaya. Lastly, I see this name as a symbol of my burning desire to move forward and finish this training as part of 54th.

The quiz was time consuming but I managed provide a better answer compared to our last quiz. I had a surplus of 3 minutes to review my answers before the deadline. Further, I believe to have mentioned the right jurisprudence as back up for my claims.

LGOO Apprenticeship Program

We're 19 in total who underwent General Orientation. I was a prerequisite requirement of AAE.

17 of us took the Apprentice Entrance Exam on April 1. It was nerve-wrecking. I had to use the restroom 3 times. The list of names can be seen below.

The 2 LGOOs weren't able to take due to the 6 months of LGOO experience.

The results came out of April 6, 2022. I was busy scrolling on tiktok. When I switch to fb messenger, a message popped up. It was a tag in one of our gc for work. It says "congrats"

Yes it was still unofficial. Wala pa mi kita sa black and white print so not yet the time to rejoice. Grabe.

Official statement form our training coordinator came out few hours later. I had screenshots of it as proof. It felt dreamy. Wala ko kasabot sa akoa an feel. Finally, no more overthinking. Kay do you know, I spent April 1-6, 2022 overthinking. Those days finally over kay naa nay result.

6 of us went though the 54th batch.

3 passed but on the waiting list for the next batch.

It was 9 of us in total who passed the exams.

I felt really happy for myself but saddened for my other co-lgoos who did not made it. Imagine the struggle they need to go though preparing for the next batch of exam. It was tough. Ma-feel napod nila pressure from our agency, the regional director and colleagues.

I never thought of this concept.

It was bizarre.
