in response to where most of the nby/transmasc/general masc self-shippers are at? disappointingly most got harassed off from the fandom or community as a whole. which is something rarely talked about or recognized, and if it is, its disregarded by a lot of people. because they either support it or don't want to get involved in the "drama".
there are a couple trying to fight back against the obvious homophobia going on within the fandom, and hate against masc or men self-shippers and "Angels". however with the fandom being heavily populated and dominated by fem/women self-shippers and "Angels". those voices and people are easily buried and ignored.
(there has been past and recent cases of some fem/women self-shippers being harassed off the fandom too. saying this to acknowledge this fact before anyone throws a fit over it and say I am not thinking or caring about them too.
however in comparison to men/masc self-shippers, men/masc self-shippers have unfortunately been most targeted for harassment and even death threats by some fans in the community. which is why many hardly see them in the fandom.)
hello! thank you two for taking the time out of yalls day to inform me on this. i will be frank; i stay away from fandom spaces. i refuse to interact with most fandoms because of, as stated above, how rampant transphobia (and lesbophobia!) is within fandom spaces. which i find hilariously ironic, considering ren himself is non-binary. and... straight?.. ren being straight? i laughed...
these statements i have frequently heard that saint, and therefore 14dwy's community, must be "drama-free" and "positive" to the point of toxicity are claims i'm familiar with hearing (and have seen myself!) with this being said, i am unfamiliar with any prior 14dwy community situation. i do remember hearing about some form of stalking going on within the community, but (even now) i still lack full context to form my own opinion... not that i really care, if i will be honest. (that sounds mean, but... i wasn't here! i dont know who anyone here IS! i'm new! fresh out of the 14dwy womb)
with that being said, FUCK going into hiding. FUCK being silenced. FUCK THAT! the 14dwy community NEEDS to be more inclusive OUTSIDE OF FEMININE WOMEN. that was the sole reason why i started posting my art of my TRANS MASCULINE SELF INSERT... because i saw NOTHING outside of women!

i need my fellow trans folk to know they want you to go into hiding. they dont want to see you in public, enjoying yourself, going against the status quo of what is considered "normal" or "not normal"... fuck that. dont let them silence you.
