Adelia I'm so sorry for it's been more than half a year... But:
-> Orange and Victim are both artists. Blue and Mitsi are both dancers.
-> Orange and Mitsi are both strong leaders. Blue and Victim are both that "whatever is ok, sometimes I don't like it but I follow without struggle" type of person. They will do well enough on their own in the short term. On the long run however, the faults get bigger and bigger to bite them in the ass. They can't fully function without a dominant figure to follow.
-> Orange and Victim both saw the uglier face of Alan. Sure, things got much better for Orange especially with much less physical abuse. But the whole "Orange didn't face trauma from Alan" argument is false. The phycological torture from working for the guy who threatened you with your loved ones' lives is immense. Even if they started liking each other later on, it could still be considered slavery. Still horrible for a young character to face! As for Blue and Mitsi, they know something is off, but likely don't know what's wrong exactly. They help as best as they can.
-> Speaking of helping, Orange and Mitsi helped Blue and Victim through hard times. Victim had PTSD (and likely paranoia). Blue shows signs of depression which caused her addiction. They survived thanks to their saner friends/lovers.
-> Orange and Victim both went batshit insane when their loved ones died. The insanity of a person who had nothing to lose... Mitsi and Blue's approaches seem to be more calculated for now.
-> Idk if this counts, but Blue and Mitsi are both seen as these dainty little ladies by a large part of the fandom. I disagree. I think they both have that confident aggressive femininity.
-> Beautiful femme Blue/Mitsi, enby creature Orange/Victim.
