It’s great to know you guys are still together, that’s really sweet.

Puck, Beth and I moved here after I graduated Yale. I'm still getting used to it all, but at least it isn't Lima.

I'm fine.

Oh… Hi, again. 

Puck’s hands slipped under her arms to lift her off his lap and get her on the floor, “Save it really quickly and turn it off, I’ll distract her.” He said in a quick and somewhat frantic whisper, like a child trying to be sneaky. Beth was standing in front of the television playing the game to get to a saving point and be able to turn it off right after while Puck looked around the apartment to see if it was in a presentable state. He tried his best to keep it clean and somewhat organized since Quinn liked that, but it still had some messes here and there to show signs of life in the space. He grabbed a wrapper from a candy bar he had shared with Beth earlier, putting it in his pocket and it happened to be the one he had the ring box in. His hand touched it a little and he remembered what his intentions for tonight were and suddenly he got a jolt of nervousness. The man was going to have to keep quiet for awhile in order to find that perfect moment to permanently intertwine their futures.

Puck opened the door finally, seeing all the things she had in her arms, “A hot girl, pizza, and ice cream? I think I’m dreaming.” He joked, giving her his usual charming smirk while using his body to block the door so Beth had some time. Then he again noticed how full her arms were and his instinct to help her overpowered going along with his plan. He took a step toward her, his hands reaching out to take the pizza boxes from her and sliding them to be held on his forearm while his hand kept them in place. Once that was all set up he leaned forward to give her a kind and welcome home kiss. His free hand hand found her cheek to touch it tenderly, his thumb giving one caring stroke on the skin under it.

As the door opened, Quinn shook her head of the thoughts. Smiling, she allowed Puck to help her with the food, shaking her head slightly. "Please" she scoffed "your dreams probably consist of more than that. And not in that way." She frowned slightly when she noticed Beth had yet to come say hello-that was usually a sign that her daughter and Puck were up to something-but Quinn pushed it to the back of her mind as Puck gave her a kiss.

Grinning into the kiss, Quinn was quite content to stay like that forever. Of course, Beth wouldn't allow it, and peeking over Puck's shoulder at her daughter, she smiled. "Gross in a good way" she corrected, coming inside and stepping around Puck to give her daughter a hug "But I don't expect you to be doing anything like that for many years."

Stepping out of the car, she glanced around the carpark, and considered throwing herself into house hunting again. Even though they couldn't afford it, and it wasn't like New York really had houses anyway, Quinn still liked the idea of having a house with the white picket fence. She wasn't sure if that was too big a step in her relationship with Puck-they weren't even married yet, and despite having a daughter they really didn't do things the way Quinn had planned. Regardless, she was still happy of the life she shared with Puck and Beth, even without being married and having her dream home. She'd work on getting to those later, but right now, she just wanted to focus on New Year's.

Opening the passenger door, Quinn grabbed the pizza boxes for dinner, as well as two tubs of ice cream for dessert-bacon, for Quinn and Beth, and extreme chocolate, for Puck and Beth. Usually, she would've cooked something, but Beth had to be with their neighbour in an hour, and her boyfriend and daughter liked things the simple way anyway.

Making her way up to their apartment, Quinn found her thoughts drifting back to getting married. After deciding to become a photographer, they had been on her mind a lot more than usual lately-she had planned her dream wedding with Blair back when they were little girls, and her dreams of the perfect wedding were still the same. However, she wasn't going to force the idea on Puck-she wasn't even sure if he wanted to get married, but now wasn't the time to think about that.
