Broskis I’m going THROUGH It. I’m doing every quest I can think of rn to get enough crystals to pull for Mydei, but I might have to wait for rerun cause it’s not going well

Headshot of a, basically, not traumatized Aventurine/Kakavasha. I was experimenting with acrylic markers and drew him, and was like “what if his home hadn’t been destroyed?”

So then I redesigned him and gave him the light in his eyes again.

Reasons for the redesign:

His heavy under eye makeup- since his planet is mostly desert, it’s safe to say that the days were very hot and sunny- the dark makeup reflects the sun and keeps his eyes safe! (Like Khol and cheetahs)

His hair- I actually really like his design in game, and I tried to mimic it in a freer, more natural style. Basically this is him if he was out in the open and had no one to impress except his sister.

His expression- I tried to give him an open, playful expression because THIS Kakavasha is an open book. His past made him keep his cards to his chest, but since this redesign never went through the trauma the actual character did, he has no reason to hide his true feelings. He’s a cheeky guy in canon, so I imagine his true personality is very sweet, if a little bit of a clown.

Mr. Reca is WAY too interesting and detailed to not be playable in the future.

He’s giving 4 star but I don’t care because he’s WAY too well designed to just stick to NPC mode. I know Siobhan is detailed too, and is still NPC, but Mr. Reca is like, crazy level. He’s the quest version of playable characters level of details.

Pros!

/ I really like the combat style, from what I’ve seen it’s basically Honkai Impact: 3rd, but with tweaks that fit the world of New Eridu. It’s easy and fun.

/I enjoy the art style and the character designs. They’re interesting without being “busy” or “over complicated” unlike some of the other Hoyoverse designs (side eyes Genshin and HSR because like why does everyone need a garter belt).

/the animation is bouncy and gives life to the characters and how they interact with one another. And honestly they don’t really have “unrealistic” body types unlike some of Hoyoverse games. It’s nice to see the characters in games actually looking like they have room for their organs.

/I actually really love the concept of being like, a secret organization that operates around the government, and our username is in fact, a username for their fake account. It’s interesting, and a concept that is honestly very unique.

/speaking of the “Proxy” thing because Wise and Belle? They are some of my favorite characters and I’m REALLY interested in learning more about them. Like how are the able to do what they do? WHY are they able to do it?

/I chose Wise and he’s my bbg. Him and Billy Kid have my entire heart

/the storyline seems decently paced without feeling rushed (the combat aids this because it goes by relatively quickly so you can focus more on the story)

/i really like the “comic book” set up they use for some scenes. It gives it an urban feel (fitting the game) and it allows people to read at their own pace.

Cons!

/ the game is brand new, so they’re still working on some glitches. I have yet to experience any but I know many players have.

/the SIZE. Why is it so big? I believe I seen one thing where it was bigger than GENSHIN. I had to abandon my Pokemon on Pokémon GO! In order to make room for the full game of ZZZ.

/The Prologue is kind of a snooze fest, but most game prologues are. This one was legit just introducing us to our main crew.

Conclusion!!!

Zenless is a really good game, and I really enjoy it so far! I can’t wait to see where the story and the crew working on it takes us.

Meanwhile I wanna just about Wise because mean I LOVE his design? His dark circles, the light in his eyes? I legit said “oh my god he’s so pretty” when THIS scene happened

Like I love the ears and stuff, and I’m glad they’re getting adventurous in their cards (Meiko in that one Emu focus that was an arc ender is gorgeous)

I’m assuming it’s a mixed unit event featuring dogs?

I haven’t seen the untrained of any of the other cards, but kid Akito is going THROUGH it. Poor baby, climbing the playground equipment to get away from the big, fluffy dog.

Okay so this event is going on in the English/Global server rn, and I was SCREAMING when this part happened.

At first when Niigo Kaito became a thing, the “where’s your anger? Where’s your rage?” Meme was RAMPANT. I thought it was over hyped.

No. Bro really has the attitude of a pissed off cat.

He’s an asshole and I love him

But he’s also what Mafuyu needs. She is ANGRY, but no one else matches that anger that’s buried so deep in her heart that she can’t even find it, but Kaito comes up and is a jerk, he tells her how it is, that she can actually DO something.

He’s angry, he’s spiteful, he doesn’t want to make friends and play nice. He’s here for a reason and he doesn’t care if her feelings are hurt as a result.

And it’s refreshing. It’s new and it’s WONDERFUL.

I know because I WAS Mafuyu. I had buried my feelings so deep that I didn’t even know what to feel.

It took my friend being told of the people who had bullied me to the point of wanting to ESCAPE and going “I’m pissed off for you. You should be fucking furious that they did that to you.”

And I was, but I thought it was bad, so I wasn’t.

Like look at this:

The duality, the reluctance to look at her and yet he’s also holding her hand, he’s doing something that admittedly he didn’t not have to do.

They’re children, the only thing he has as a ‘reliable’ source of what love looks like is his parents. Let’s be honest, they aren’t the best.

However Anya has loads of reliable sources of what different types of love is. Loid’s care for her, Yor’s determination to keep her safe, Franky’s care for Loid as his best friend, Yuri’s love for Yor as her little brother- and while some of those are artificial in origin, over time they have become real. She even sees the beginnings of Yor and Loid loving each other and knows that what they have is special.

So Anya will recognize Damian’s actions and even humor them because she likes him too. Damian doesn’t recognize what he feels for Anya because he doesn’t really have a good sense of what ‘love and care’ is.
