Quietus, etiam..?

The burden that has been weighing down his shoulders has suddenly disappeared.

Is that him? Is that honestly, truly him?

       ❝ Tea…                          … cher… ? ❞

          Why, that voice sounded ever so familiar.            But who, who? His memory failed him.                                    Months of sleep had taken a toll on both his physique and mind.                                    Eyes blink once more. An almost exaggeratedly slow movement.

                           Head raising, only did his own noir hues meet the other's.                            Only then did air rush back into his lungs.

                                              How could he have forgotten the voice of one of the children..?

                 Lips part, but not single word left his lips.                  Throat, dry. He swallowed.                                                                  Took a breath. 

            ❝ …A..                      A-Allen.  ❞  

                            He's here. He's safe.                             They're safe.                                    Safe and sound.

                            The drops trickling down his eyes                                                  So warm. Oh, so warm.

"Your hair so so long Teacher..w-when was the last time you cut it—?" Or did he even ever cut it—. Long locks like this, make Chelsy quite jealous of how long his hair is— compared to hers, her hair was so short. If she had long hair like this though, it would be a large hassle to keep clean and looking good, with a small body such as hers, she might end up looking like Rapunzel!Its a good thing Teacher’s hair wasn’t as long as hers, that would be a double hassle—. You know, stepping on your hair and getting it all dirty? Chelsy was glad she had short hair, now that she thought about it at least-. 

                 Smile tugging at his lips, her low murmurs caused him to chuckle softly.          After all, Chelsy would not intentionally play a prank or anything of that sort.                                           Unlike another child that would have taken any chance to. 

                 ❝ I'm sure it won't, Chelsy.                     You're a gentle girl, after all.❞

        Cheeks redden at the inquiry, a huff emerging from his lips.                             Yes, yes. His hair was long-- and unkempt, hm?

Perhaps not paying heed to his appearances was not the wisest of things to do. Though, it hardly mattered if he rarely showed his face to the outside world, no? Children were hardly any more judgmental about appearances, in contrast to how adults were. Why, Fiona would've--

                   ..Ah.                     Wandered off again, have you?                     You'll be   S W A L L O W E D   by your dream                                                                                 at this rate.

          Blinking, eyes wander back to his hands, a meek laugh escaping his lips.              Though forced, he certainly hoped the girl had not noticed                                                                      the temporary wanderings of his mind.
