What did I learn today?

Some people look for a beautiful place, others make a place beautiful.

When will you learn that there isn’t a word for everything?

I don’t think people understand how stressful it is to explain what’s going on in your head when you don’t even understand it yourself.

It’s like when someone says, ‘How are you?’ Do you say, ‘Well, my head hurts and I’m lonely and depressed and I’m worried about everything and the world is collapsing and full of evil’? Or do you say, ‘I’m fine’?

The older I get, the more I realize the value of privacy, of cultivating your circle and only letting certain people in. You can be open, honest, and real while still understanding not everyone deserves a seat at the table of your life.

I need to stop imagining situations in my head that aren’t going to happen.

The worst memories stick with us, while nice ones always seem to slip through our fingers.
