For those who stumble upon my account... Hello and how are ya? You can refer to me as Yume, Dreamy, Floof, Jora, JJ, Roving, Gryph or whatever nickname you wanna give me. I'm a genuinely curious individual who sometimes gets obsessed with stuff that I eventually want to get engaged with or media that I have no intention of trying out, but I'm very fascinated by it. I'm also just a silly, creative 19-year-old Canadian who's trying to get the most out of life.
My general pronouns are she/her, but I don't mind you referring to me as they/them and he/him. I'm gender-apathetic!
If you wanna know what my MBTI is, I consider myself to be a mix between INFJ-T and INFP.
Some of my hobbies include writing, listening to music, rarely reading books, poems, and manga, occasionally watching movies, TV shows or anime, and baking and drawing once in a blue moon. For those wondering what kind of art I do, I've primarily been doing a lot of digital art. However, I've been using traditional mediums (acrylic paint, markers, coloured pencils, and regular ol' pencils) for many years now. Before we move on with other stuff about me, some of my interests include psychology, sociology, criminology, law, biology, outer space, mythology, folklore, legends, religion, history, internet mysteries, and lost media.
I have mild anxiety and continue to struggle with the lingering effects of a language learning disability and several delays in receptive and expressive language development. I occasionally feel jealous and can become easily annoyed, which may lead me to snap and get angry with you whether intentionally or unintentionally.
Please note that most of my work isn't intended for minors. It's primarily aimed at older teenagers and adults. However, I understand that you may choose to engage with my content regardless. When I was a kid, I often explored adult stuff, so I can relate to that.

Honestly, from the games I'm into, I wouldn't wanna live in any of their worlds. If I had to choose, it'd be either in POSTAL 2/POSTAL 4: No Regerts (without the threat of apocalypse) or in the classic Tomb Raider games, both of which feature quirky yet relatively realistic worlds. Both games have their own dangers and distinct mythos, but at least they’re much more manageable than something like, for example, Battletoads and Fear & Hunger 2: Termina.

I don't play video games often because many don't captivate my interest. I lack the necessary resources to enjoy the ones I'm most interested in. However, I find a lot of comfort in Minecraft, specifically in its creative mode. I've also discovered genuine enjoyment in the classic Tomb Raider games.
I tend to find comfort in games that are both fun and frustrating in their own unique ways, including POSTAL: Brain Damaged and Fear & Hunger.

Holy shit... This ask made me remember you! It's fantastic to see that you're alive! To be honest, I completely forgot about you because I was quietly scrubbing some mutuals out of my life, and you ended up being part of that purge... I'm unable to recall why I did such a thing, so I deeply apologise for that.
I'm trying my best to not make my friend group so large as I've ended up distancing myself from a lot of my friends on Tumblr and Instagram. Socialisation is a major struggle for me, and it's mentally exhausting for me to stay in contact with others. At some point, I should actually attempt to get in touch with the people I haven't spoken to in a long time...
Anyways, a lot of stuff has happened in my life, such as RP shenanigans, college work, and finding myself in a polyamorous relationship. I've abandoned all of my creative writing projects in favour of a new format for character creation and worldbuilding. It's pretty secretive, but I've been using RP to share stuff about them. I'm currently working on some OC stuff for a fan project that ended up being its own distinct AU with religious and mythological elements. I'm cringe and I'm free!
As of now, I'm battling the remnants of a sudden sickness, but it's not the end of the world.

If you don’t mind me offering a suggestion, when you're receiving a lot of hate and harassment, there are options on Tumblr that allow you to shut down your account without deactivating it. These include turning off your askbox and limiting who can message you and comment on your posts. This helped me once when I faced harassment, and it did the trick. You can turn them back on whenever you feel comfortable and ready.
Just ignore the haters and continue doing what you love! Don't forget to take breaks from your account when things become too much.

For now, I'm gonna abandon the projects I haven't worked on in a long time. I haven't felt particularly passionate and interested in them. Instead of deleting them, I'm keeping them available for the sake of internet history and to serve as inspiration for aspiring writers and artists.
I've taken a more relaxed approach to character creation, and it's the best decision I could've made! So far, I've been using roleplaying as a tool for development, but I've also been working on characters without it. I plan to repurpose and rework some of the characters already shared here and create RP blogs for them, such as BP!Corkscrew and Wysteria. While that won't happen right now, it's something I might pursue in the future.
