Applications for “Our Lucky Lovebug” are officially open!

Hello everyone! We are happy to announce that “Our Lucky Lovebug,” a Marinette-centric digital fanzine is now calling for artists!

The application period begins April 27th, and ends on May 22nd @ 12 AM PST. Please apply using this google form! 

Before you apply, here are some details: 

Artwork:

Artwork will be in A5 format ( 1748 pixels x 2480 pixels ) and 300 DPI. Artwork will be turned in as a JPEG/PNG file.

It is up to the artist whether they would like their piece to be in full color or full black and white. Either way, the piece must be shaded in some way.

Digital and traditional artwork is accepted! However, traditional artwork must be scanned or photographed in high quality.

Let’s get one thing straight: Chloe hates Marinette Dupain-Cheng

There might be people in this world that might think that if one is dating a superheroine, one had to love her secret identity as well. Because ‘that’s how love works’ and 'if you love someone you should love all parts of them.’

But not Chloe.

No, you see, there is a lot more to loving someone than all of that.

Especially if you’re a superheroine yourself.

Because the public has already seen Chloe kissing Ladybug on top of the Eiffel Tower. Has seen Ladybug lounging on her balcony. Knows that the two are dating in some fashion.

So, even if Chloe wants nothing more than to bring her girlfriend a latte first thing in the morning.  Or to hold her hand when they think that no one is paying attention in Biology class. Or to walk her home after classes and leave with a kiss…

She can’t.

Instead she has to act as though the years of resentment between them hasn’t been mended. She throws barbs that she knows hurt more than Marinette would like to admit. And worst of all:

Chloe has to pretend as though the sun doesn’t rise when Marinette enters the room. That her heart doesn’t beat twice as fast when they accidentally brush against each other in the halls. That she only has eyes for her. That her whole world doesn’t revolve around this wonderful girl who miraculously loves her in return.

She’d give anything to be dating Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

But she can’t.
