this is true!! i have always noticed that jb reacts to fanservice in a slightly different way to the others, like he often seems to get a little flustered? like when jinyoung flirts with him on stage or when bambam did that sexy dance where he hooked his leg around jaebum’s head. i also noticed N flirting with him but i thought i’d imagined it haha, so i’m glad you saw that too!

obviously, it doesn’t necessarily mean anything about his orientation, he could easily be straight. however, i have to say that jaebum is one of the members that seems to set off my gaydar quite often. 

another disclaimer before i get into this, i don’t mean to breach the privacy of any of the got7 members and nothing i say about their views/orientation is concrete at all, i just want to share my personal opinions on this topic and this is entirely speculation.

i don’t think jaebum is homophobic, not outwardly anyway, because him and jackson are friends with tony hong (who is openly gay) but i’ve always considered the possibility that he reacts to fanservice in the way that he does because he thinks it’s slightly… weird? for lack of better word. i don’t know anything about jaebum’s upbringing and i’m not claiming to either, but i just don’t get homophobic vibes from him at all and that’s what confuses me. because if someone isn’t homophobic and isn’t into guys, why would they respond that way to fanservice/flirting? i think lots of people assume he could never actually be interested in men because he’s perceived sort of as this alpha-male who’s all dark and brooding but we’ve seen him get flustered by guys plenty of times which makes me think i wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t actually straight...

first off, i think most of got7 enjoy drag but i don’t really have anything to say in terms of gender identity, so i’ll leave that be.

unsurprisingly, i’ve gotta start with jackson. of course i don’t know him in real life but he seems, to me, incredibly open about who he shows affection to and who seems to think is attractive. i’ve seen him get flustered over guys and girls, and he’s shown multiple times that he’s far from homophobic (ik that doesn’t necessarily mean anything but it’s also nice to know!)

i know that kissing men doesn’t necessarily mean anything either, not when fan service is a thing, but jackson has shown on multiple occasions that he finds same gender attraction very normal, especially in reference to himself.

so i would not be surprised in the slightest if jackson turns out not to be straight, gender doesnt really seem to be a barrier for him when it comes to attraction, going off what he’s said and done. 

as for the others? it’s a bit of a blur. i’ve gotten ncns vibes and straight vibes from them all at various points and i just don’t really have enough evidence to suggest that they are or aren’t. they enjoy flirting and skinship a lot, but that alone doesn’t inherently mean anything. lets just say that if some of them came out, i wouldn’t be shocked, and if they’re actually straight, i wouldn’t be shocked either.

mark does give me kinda straight vibes though... i also think in an interview he said he liked girls when somebody implied he liked men? but i could be wrong, it’s a fuzzy memory. either way, we’ll never know unless they tell us so let’s just hope!! overall i think got7 are a very accepting group so while they may not be ncns themselves, i doubt they’d have any issues with it!
