Pearl blinked and looked over at the girl. “I-I dont wish to talk about it…and who are you calling mortal? I’ve been here for six thousand years.”
“Do forgive me, I normally assume someone is human.” she replied with a soft smile, holding out her hand “I am Mina Tepes, It’s a pleasure to meet you. Might I ask your name?”
“I am Pearl.” She said as the gem on her forehead started glowing.
“Well isnt that interesting. May I ask what you are? You’re certianly not human, or a vampire.”
“I am a crystal gem, a guardian for this planet and all that inhabit it. Me, and two other gems protect it from gem monsters, and the gems from our homeworld who are bent on taking over this world.
“Well then thank you for protecting us, Pearl. You’ve been on earth for 6000 years then? You’ve been here since before my mother’s reign… Thats remarkable.” she smiled softly
“If you would like, You’re welcome in my Bund. Its really quite lovely”
“It’s no trouble.” She smiled softly. “You’re Bund? What’s that?”
"A safe haven for the immortal. A large city on an island just outside Tokyo. Vampires live there mostly.of course some of my werewolf guard lives there as well. I have a castle there, of course I have many castles and mansions all over The globe." She gave a child like giggle
"But the one in Transylvania is my favorite... It is where I grew up with my mother. I miss her dearly... Do you have anyone whom you miss pearl?"

The deaf girl had just finished the last class of the day and was now walking home alone. The sun was setting and she had decided she would do things differently today by sleeping in her house instead of her dorm room. She was hoping that her father would allow her to go back home after he sent her away to Yamaku due to her disability. She hated that school so much, the only reason why she was even there was because her father was too ashamed to admit that his daughter was different.
