My World.

Hi everyone! I’m Massiah, a Black 21-year-old physically disabled lesbian. In 2016, I wrote a poem called “Brown Rose” to remind Black women that we are more than the hardships and stereotypes that we face. I showed it to a family member shortly after writing it and she loved it and wanted to put the last few lines of the poem on t-shirts. I gave her permission to do so. We sold a good amount of shirts amongst family and friends, but my heart wasn’t in it. Until now. I’ve revamped the entire concept—from color palettes to font selections to design to the brand itself—and now I’m just dying to share it with the world.

As a physically disabled person and a stubborn Aquarius who just cannot handle doing things I don’t absolutely love, I am unable to work a job that provides me with an income steady enough to fund a project like this. So, that’s where I’m hoping all of you lovely people will come in. I’m thinking $1,000 would really help me get this project off the ground and I’d love it if you all could donate or even just reblog this post.
