"It's quite alright, I understand having a bad day every now and then."
The Egyptian smiled warmly and offered a respectful bow of gratitude at her words. It was good to know that she recognized his sincerity.
"Besides, I would be a fool no to recognize one who was the Great Pharaoh once. I spent many years as a Tomb Keeper within Egypt's underground pathways. I suppose that is why I tend to be more sincere than some."
That drew a pause from her, shoulders squaring a bit more, before she turned to look at him. For a moment, she wondered if perhaps it could just be lie, but then...How would one know something so specific.
"....That was a very long time ago, and much has changed," she said, voice soft, eyes lowering for a moment as she thought about what he said. "Why are you here now?"
