Chapter 1 of my newest project is finished and online!

"The Path of the Avatar" is a fanfic that adapts the Avatar (James Cameron) films with Avatar: The Last Airbender and Korra. The primary language of the work is Portuguese, but I will also post its English translation.

“HE WAS THE AVATAR!!!!” Jake shouted, finally getting rid of the lump in his throat. “He was the Avatar! The only one capable of controlling the four elements! If you knew my brother, you know how powerful he was. And you’re going to tell me he died because of a strong wind that blew off his oxygen mask?” Jake looked directly at Mo’at. “You don’t know my people… They are capable of doing crazy things to cover their tracks.”

Mo’at looked at Jake thoughtfully. “Mother, what he says might be right!” Neytiri said behind her mother, ignoring Tsu’tey’s disapproving looks. “The Sky People are cruel even to their own… Even Thomas was afraid of that.”

The insanity of the Sky People was something that greatly frightened her. Thomas had once told her that the ability to bend the four elements should be a way to connect them to nature, not to make it their servant or slave.

Mo’at looked into Jake’s eyes, examining his soul. She felt pain and hatred, but she also felt fear and regret. Feelings she knew well.

I hope you enjoyed it. I'm working on some parts of the fanfic because I noticed some inconsistencies that I didn't like. I'm working to get it posted as soon as possible.

Everyone knows that Prototype is a genius, but it seems that no one has realized that he is much more intelligent than he appears. Unlike all the scientists at Playtime Co., Prototype achieved something that even Harley Sawyer couldn't: A truly perfect experiment.

The scientists at Playtime Co. used children to conduct experiments because they had more "malleable" and less rigid minds compared to adults. Even so, many experiments were not very smart or obedient, as is the case with Yarnaby and Boxy Boo.

But Prototype managed to create a smart, obedient Bigger Bordie who truly believes he is a toy and (on top of that) with an adult. Lily Lovebraids is something that even the scientists at Playtime couldn't do: a cognitively stable and obedient adult.

Not even 1199 (Thomas Clarke) had as much awareness of where he was and who he was as Lily Lovebraids. Lily knew she was an adult, that she had worked at Playtime, and that she was watching a video she herself had made. If it weren't for the Prototype's torture, she would act like she did when she was human in a toy body.

That's why I say: the Prototype is a true genius, and Lily is proof of that.

How come nobody noticed this before?

Poppy actually orchestrated the Fun Hour, even though she regretted it later;

I found Lily much scarier in the game than in the trailers (her story is macabre);

We lost our blue hand that has been with us since Chapter 1 (and the GrabPack);

Huggy was killed by 1006 (but we hope he comes back);

I cried during the scene of 1006's attack on Huggy and Kissy;

How did the children survive so long in the lab? They didn't survive.

I carefully analyzed my theory bingo for chapter 5 and had to make some changes:

The player knew the genocide was going to happen during Fun Time, that's why it didn't happen;

The children might be trapped in those giant plants that appear in the trailer;

We'll find out how they actually survived down there for so long;

Kissy will get revenge on Poppy, maybe leaving her behind, and the player will obviously help Kissy;

I still think the "The Fool" card refers to the player, not 1006;

And I also hope a real child appears in this chapter.

I really want to see Poppy get into trouble in this chapter and more revealed about the experiments that 1006 conducts; maybe he has ulterior motives. E não se preocupem, leitores internacionais que falam majoritariamente em inglês, planejo postar a fanfic traduzida ao mesmo tempo da original. E se você está com medo que aconteça alguma bagunça ao misturar dois elementos de franquias distintas, aqui vai algumas observações que foram apresentadas nesse capitulo piloto que eu pretendo seguir:

Thomas (Tom) Sully é o Avatar;

A dobra dos quatro elementos é uma coisa nova para os na'vi, ou seja, eles não dobram ou tem conhecimento sobre dobras;

"Avatar" começando com letra maiúscula é quando estou me referindo ao único capaz de dobrar os quatro elementos. Quando uso "avatar" com letra minúscula, estou me referindo aos clones geneticamente modificados com DNA na'vi e humano para a pesquisa em Pandora;

Por causa da dominação a tecnologia e a ciência evoluiu um pouco mais em comparação ao universo original dos filmes de Avatar (Cameron), por exemplo, agora o tempo de viagem entre a Terra e Pandora é de 3 anos e não mais 5 anos;

A população de dobradores é incrivelmente pequena, mas isso os torna mais privilegiados na sociedade. Se nos dias de hoje é quase impossível arranjar uma consulta com um medico comum super famoso, imagine conseguir uma cirurgia com um Dobrador de Água com especialidade em Cura;

Alguns personagens que morreram no universo dos filmes de Cameron podem "voltar" dependendo do contexto que esse personagem se encontra;

Planejo pelo menos 3 livros, começando com o Livro do Fogo, para condizer com os 3 filmes do Cameron (o terceiro filme eu ainda não assisti), mas se esse projeto tiver sucesso, eu posso expandir para 4 livros;

O que aconteceu com Aang e Korra é canônico nesse universo. Na verdade, as séries até existem quase como "desenhos educativos" ou documentários para mostrar como era antigamente;

A Convergência Harmônica é acompanhada de alguma "catástrofe" ou evento sobrenatural que muda completamente a Terra. Isso é baseado na teoria que diz que Korra perder a conexão com o conhecimento dos Avatares anteriores era inevitável. Nesse universo, isso é canônico e junto do evento sobrenatural, o Avatar que presencia a Convergência Harmônica perde o conhecimento dos Avatares anteriores;

Houveram pelo menos duas Convergências Harmônicas depois da Avatar Korra. No ano em que se passa o 1º filme de avatar, faltam 2 mil anos para a próxima Convergência Harmônica e de acordo com os cientistas talvez a raça humana não sobreviva a mais uma catástrofe que muda completamente o planeta Terra, o que torna ainda mais importante a colonização de outros planetas;

Os portais para o Mundo Espiritual foram fechados de uma vez por todas. Os espíritos foram embora da Terra há muito tempo, incluindo Tui e La, os espíritos do mar e da lua. Por que eles foram embora? Deixarei para responder quando o projeto for finalizado;

A divindade de Eywa será respeitada de acordo com o que foi apresentado nos filmes, não pretendo diminuir a importância e nem a influência dela por causa do Avatar.

Lembro de quando conheci minha irmãzinha, ouvi meus pais falando que duas gestações eram o suficiente… Não sei o que fez eles mudarem de ideia.
