gem type: lapis and amethyst make cobalt aura quartz!

personality: at her core, cobalt aura quartz is a nihilist. she swears a lot. things don’t matter because earth will be swallowed up by the sun in a few billion years anyway. cobalt just kind of doesn’t really care. she’s not a very useful fusion to form, but she’s therapeutic for the both of them.

stability: cobalt is relatively stable. she splits sometimes because of lapis’s apprehension about fusion after her past experience with it.

ruby + amethyst

gem type: kammererite! the coloring just screams these two to me:

personality: kammererite is very hotheaded and arrogant. (ironically, kammererite supposedly clears the mind and has healing properties. huh) she’s basically a miniature, more volatile sugilite - as there’s no sapphire to balance out amethyst and ruby’s personalities. kammererite is quick to resort to violence to solve a problem, and she has a tendency not to take things or people seriously. i imagine she’d clash a lot with pearl and just blatantly disrespect other gems that she thinks are less suited to a certain job than her. amethyst comes through in kammererite’s love of spicy food.

stability: kammererite is a pretty stable fusion all things considered. she holds together well and dislikes unfusing.

height: slightly taller than smoky quartz, with a similar build, though she’s stocky and squarer compared to them.

sapphire + amethyst:

gem type: sapphire and amethyst make blue halite:

personality: decidedly more mellow than kammererite. halite is gentle and protective, reacting rather than instigating. her future vision works similarly to garnet’s, as amethyst is equally as unpredictable as ruby. she’s very serene and calm, or just lazy.

stability: halite is usually stable. certain things will make her split though - as a salt gem she’s deathly afraid of water and even seeing it will usually split her.

fusion // accepting (selective)

gem type: white and amethyst would make a very pale lilac diamond. think like this one: 

personality: amethyst’s personality is almost completely absorbed by white’s, perhaps with a touch more insecurity that lilac diamond would show. she does have a habit of making puns occasionally, but overall, lilac diamond would be a worrier and perfectionist.

stability: as white is still unsure about fusion, lilac diamond isn’t overly stable. she can stay fused for a few minutes at a time - amethyst usually intends on using it to get white more accustomed to the idea.

gem type: honestly, i can see these two making cinnabar! specifically with a mid-dark reddish pink coloration to it.

personality: baddeleyite comes out in cinnabar a lot more than amethyst does. she’s generally a more serious, peaceful fusion, but what she does get from amethyst is that she’s generally kind of lazy-laid back. cinnabar as a general rule doesn’t care. 

stability: cinnabar is pretty stable for the most part. amethyst and baddeleyite get along fine, so there’s no reason for her not to be stable. what would push her apart would be facing conflict, especially in the form of criticism to her form.
