“I win the competition? I win!” She yells up at the cab driver now. “Hey! I win!” But her head doesn’t move from the spot on his shoulder, she’s enjoying the petting of her hair way too much. “Tea sounds…bleh, lets get more to drink and then have a dance party. With our pants off. It will be amazing.” She starts slapping the top of his thigh to make sure she has his attention on her drunk self. As if it would be anywhere else at the moment, but she can’t process that very quickly. 

“We aren’t drinkin’ more.” He’s only had one drink tonight, thanks to this babysitting job of his. Not that he begrudges her. “If you agree to drink some tea, I’ll agree to dance pantless with you.” He’s pretty sure she’ll pass out as soon as they hit his place, and he’s fine with that. Laughing, he gives an apologetic look to the driver in the rear view. Finally they get to his place. “C’mon Rosie.” He all but drags her, and when he gets her in, puts her on the couch. “Stay put. Tea time.”

His head has fallen forward on his arms, but he takes a moment to glance up at her. “You don’t need to stay there. I promise I’m okay. It’s sweet’a you though.”
