Living In A Daydream I May Be Some Sort Of Crazy

As I look at this photo, I see women sitting in the green, their forms shaped into quiet silhouettes. They face away from the sun, not in darkness, but in understanding choosing the calm over the glare, the stillness over the noise.

The water mirrors them perfectly, as if honoring their presence, holding their reflection without distortion. Nothing rushes here.

These women feel like keepers of peace ,resting, reflecting, protecting something sacred. They’ve already lived through the brightness, the heat, the hard seasons. Now they sit together in the shade, grounded and whole, finding comfort in silence and strength in one another.

There is no need for faces or words.

Their posture says everything.

This place feels like a pause in time a reminder that it’s okay to turn your back to the sun sometimes, to sit in the green, to let the world be quiet while you just are.

This is Circle B Barr Reserve in Lakeland Florida. . Whenever I’m stressed or need a therapy session I enjoy a nature walk. This is nature at its best. Yes I know walking along trails where gators can quick to turn and get you is exciting lol and scary. I respect them and they seem not to bother me. This trails has all kinds of birds and nature including bald eagles. This pair of eagles have been here at the B for years. As most know Florida got hit hard this season with Hurricanes and unfortunately the eagles lost threat they have built (left photo) but as you can see the right photo they are still here. They will rebuild the nest.

The nest they once had was the size of a California King.

Don’t mind me I MAY BE SOME SORT OF CRAZY.
