Seeing as QSMP was created to bring both hispanic and anglo communities together and possibly face off the language barrier, a bilingual fan went "yo... I should help" and thus this blog was created!

It will keep an archive of vods because we are past letting streamed SMPS disappear.

Also if it turns out to be a learning experience, that would be an extra and would put a smile on the mods faces

Btw. Not an update account! Is a resource blog! If you are looking for updates, consult both QSMP official updates accounts in twitter in English and Spanish

En vista de QSMP se creo para reunir la comunidad hispanohablante y angloparlante, ademas de combatir (talvez) la barrera del lenguaje, un fan bilingüe dijo "ey... quiero ayudar" y asi fue como nacio este blog!

El blog mantendra un archivo de vods porque no vamos a perder otro Server de Minecraft que se transmitio en vivo.

Ademas, si resulta ser una expereinceia de aprendizaje, eso seria un extra que haria muy felices a los mods

Por cierto! Este blog no es una cuenta de actualizaciones y noticias! Es un blog de recursos, para actualizaxiones puedes consultar las cuentas oficiales de Twitter de QSMP en Español y en Ingles.

The period to apply to be an archivist has concluded! Mods will shortly get in contact with everyone selected. Thanks to everyone that submitted an application

The vods all the way from March 22 to April 11 have been uploaded to our channel, it will still take some days to make the necessary updates to the spreadsheet for you to access them

Due to a copyright strike, all videos have gone back to being unlisted as we see how the situation develops. Videos are still accessible through the links in our spreadsheet for the time being (we working to have those links up to date but it may still take time after this post)

You don’t have to directly help with the recovery and re-upload of vods, link recovery and spreadsheet upkeep is just as important to stay up to date and maintain the order of the archive. So we highly encourage you to apply!

Hello wonderful qsmp community! Qsmp-resources had to go on hiatus because half of its team (one entire archivist) was struggling with school and had to stop their work at the archive. And thus we have fallen slightly behind. Fortunately, we are back and with summer and ideally more free time for operations to pick back up!

Lessons have been learned, lesson being is kinda precarious trying to keep a project like this going between just two people so, Qsmp-Resources is looking for folks interested in being archivists!

Currently, we remain a bilingual project (ENG/ESP) but it would be wonderful if we can expand to Portuguese and French! Especially since it could mean keeping all community updated with accurate translations.

What does the job of an archivist entail?

Copy the links of cc's streams to the archive and help keep the spreadsheet updated

Download the vods from twitch, youtube and archive.org (when needed) and uploading them to a different platform to ensure a copy of the video exists

Help translate the archive updates to french and portuguese and any future language that gets added to the qsmp

Mods @a-wild-rosette and @ivi-prism will contact you through tumblr or discord to give you acess to the server and the archive

Buenas a todos bonita comunidad del qsmp! Qsmp-resources tuvo que tomar una pausa porque la mitad de su equipo (una archivista) estaba teniendo problemas academicos y tuvo que dejar su trabajo de archivo temporalmente. Afortunadamante estamos de vuelta gracias al verano que idealmente nos deja mas tiempo para que las operaciones se desatracen!

Hemos aprendido harto, como el hecho de que es algo precario mantener un proyecto de esta naturaleza solo entre dos personas y por eso Qsmp-resources esta buscando personas interesadas en ser archivistas!

Actualmente seguimos siendo un proyecto bilingüe (ENG/ESP) pero seria genial expandirnos a incluir portugues y frances! Especialmente porque eso nos permitira mantener a toda la comunidad actualizada con mejores traducciones.

¿Cuál es el trabajo de un archivista?

Copiar los enlaces de los directos de los streamers en el archivo y ayudar a mantener la hoja de calculo al dia

Descargar los vods de twitch, youtube y archive,org (si llega a faltar) para luego subirlos en distintas plataformas para garantizar que exista una copia del video

Ayudar a traducir las actualizaciones del archivo a portugues y frances, y a cualquier otro idioma que se agregue a qsmp

In previous days the mods had concluded that DanTDM would private VODS as soon as possible and the fact they didn't appear later on his vods channel was worrisome. Fourtanetly, Dan has posted the vod of his day one stream on his vod channel as well as the March 4 event stream. If this pattern continues it means Dan's vods will be archived just slightly later than other streamers. We will work now to add a playlist for him in the channel and update the archive.

En días previos los mods concluyeron que DanTDM dejaría sus vods en privado tan pronto como terminara directo, y el hecho de que los vods no aparecieran en su canal de vods mas tarde era preocupante. Afortunadamente Dan publico los vods de su primer día  y el evento del 4 de marzo en su cnaal de vods. Si este patrón continua significa que los vods de Dan serán archivados un poco después que el de los demás streamers.

After making public all vods from March 22 and 23 to test how it would go, some vods were flagged by copyright due to the music used in the streams. This doesn't mean videos were taken down but that they may be blocked in parts of the world. For this reason, is important to remember every video is linked in the archive as well as the playlist those videos belong to (each streamer has a playlist), and as we move forward, every video will have an archive.org mirror link

Rubius did a stream on March 22 but at no moment did he stream in the QSMP

DanTDM streamed on youtube and despite the original link being saved the video was set to private. Many approaches were looked into to rescue the vod but none were effective. If the vod somehow becomes available again in the future it will be updated

Quackity streamed on both of his channels. The stream in Quackitytoo was a countdown before the server officially launched.
