Though not an Amicus anthology in the strictest sense, this – the final outing of Amicus producer Milton Subotsky – has all of the charms of one of their earlier titles like Torture Garden, Tales from the Crypt, Asylum, etc. The stories are all pleasant shades of goofy, Vincent Price and Donald Pleasence deliver the kinds of performances you’d expect, and – in a twist unique to this movie among the Amicus family – there are some solid and generally fun musical numbers. It’s a fine way to spend an evening!
