A lot of people call me by my name, but if ever I leave the world and finally meet the inevitable thing that we see as the end called "death", I wanna be remembered by the things that I love, not by the failures I had or by the things I was forced to do.
I don't care if they may forget my name someday, for as long as people may think of me as the girl who used to dream of becoming a writer, journalist, psychologist, and etc., someone who loves reading-"Oh! that girl who loves The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath?", a fangirl of bands like Radiohead, Paramore, Greenday, and anything covered by Glee, and a film girl who was obsessed with Sofia Coppola, David Lynch, and Greta Gerwig.
"Who am I?", for as long as the things that Ilove exist, I can say that I still live because to me, I wanna be defined as someone who is a museum of the things I fell in love with. I am the tune of the music that I listened to, the ink of the books that I read, and the life of the movie characters that I felt connected with. The real question is, "who am I without them?"
I do believe in the philosophy of life called "absurdism", a belief that states that everything doesn't matter, just live your life to the fullest because everything "doesn't matter", and to think of it, I read somewhere that people die in life thrice.
First is when your physical body dies, second is when the people close to you lose you, and lastly is when the last person who knows you utters your name for the last time. Ironically, it matters to me.
My parents named me something not so meaningful, friends call me that and in the internet im just unknown, but deeper inside, only I know myself. I can describe myself with millions of things, but it doesn't matter because life is full of different perspectives, including identities
