QED art

This was inspired by those stories you hear every now and then, where a married couple are going through childhood photos and discover that years before they properly met, they just happened to have both been in the same place, at the same time, and, as it turns out, even ended up in the same photo. 

Or, Robby raids Jack’s embarrassing childhood photos and spots some surprisingly familiar faces in one of them.

So, every now and then, when I get really deep into a fandom, the animation bug comes a-nipping, and it would appear that The Pitt(/Rabbot specifically) meets the required criteria 😅

Just some Rabbot bedtime snuggles, because we can all do with a little fluff.

Got whacked over the head with a Pacific Rim Rabbot AU and had to do something for it.

This would be the second partnership for both Robby and Jack.

Robby's first co-pilot was his mentor and father-figure, veteran Ranger Monty Adamson, who'd been piloting Jaegers from the Mark 1 days. Unfortunately, like many Mark 1 pilots, exposure to the nuclear reactors of the early Jaegers left him with a cancer that very quickly became terminal after diagnosis.

Jack, on the other hand, piloted with the ranger who would eventually become his wife until, during particularly savage battle with a Kaiju off the coast of California, their Jaeger sustained critical damage that ultimately claimed Jack's leg and her life.

After a few years these two found each other and, to their mutual disbelief and dismay, quickly realise that they were both almost certainly drift-compatible and too duty-bound to helping the fight for humanity to ignore that fact, even at the expense of their own mental wellbeing.

In which Jack makes some educated guesses about Robby's school-years.

I've been tossing around some more Rabbot-comic ideas, but in the mean time, wanted to do something a little bit silly.

In which Jack has a bit of a rough shift and his emergency contact gets a slightly alarming early-morning call to come in and take him home. 

So opening it up to the floor, is there any particular scenarios you’d like to see illustrated? No promises, but any and all inspired is appreciated.

I was thinking the other day, with S3 being specifically set in winter, surely that will mean Dr 'at least three layers at all times, even in the middle of summer' Robinavitch will have to be rugged up like crazy!!! Right?

But then when I was sketching 'ultra-rugged-up Robby' in his Carhartt puffer jacket and little beanie, all I could think about is how he was looking like a kid bundled up to go outside to play in the snow.
