This bike map of Melbourne started as a quick and dirty attempt to mimic a "San Francisco subway bike map". It could actually have more value as very simplified schematic map of Melbourne's bike paths. Paths are colour coded according to what they primarily follow: a river, a creek, the coast, a train line, a road, a freeway, an aqueduct/sewer or a train line.

This is an open data, open source imitation of Melbourne City Council's "Melbourne Drinking Fountain Map". It took about half an hour, using TileMill. Someone just needs to add a lot more of the city's drinking fountains into OpenStreetMap.
