As for me, I just finish 1/2 of my monthly gif sets lol. Yay other hobbies! 🍾🎉 I still need to start making gifs for my other gif blog though.

On the drawing board, I'm actually like 30 pages front+back away from finishing my current sketchbook, which I started waaaay back in January, so I've been more aggressively working on the next fight comic so it doesn't span 2 separate sketchbooks. I really need to figure out a method that works for me.

On the writing board, I think the Lucamri well has dried up for now, but the brain cells pivoted back to the de Rivas 💃 Still slowly editing mylittlemonster03, but throughout the months since I started it, a lot of Viago Lore (Amri's Version) has manifested itself:

Kinda late and ready to conk out a bit early today so I won't tag anyone.

On the drawing board, I just finished that Lucanis piece so nothing extremely new. I think I'm gonna rework that Treviso piece (for like the millionth time) to maybe be a series of drawings/scenes from chocolat🍫? It requires a balcony. I do think I need to work on my sequential art. Originally I wanted to animate it and that's been on my NYR so we'll see.

On the writing board, nothing new either, other half of the thing I shared last WIP Wednesday where Taash said Lucanis and Amri were like an old married couple:

In the corner of his eye, however, he sees her trying to drop something into his coffee, and he swiftly moves his cup out of reach. "Don't." "You don't even know what it is." "Elfroot extract." "…Lucky guess." "You're just getting predictable." That seems to be a step too far. Her eyes go wide, and then she frowns at him, on the verge of tears he knows she can shed on command. She's so dramatic. "…I'm having our marriage annulled." He chokes on his coffee. It's a joke, it doesn't mean anything—why would it mean anything? Most of her jokes are terrible. They're largely just puns, and bad ones. He teases her all the time—it's too easy not to—and she pushes back. This is normal, it's part of their relationship, this back and forth. Except he isn't saying anything back as she puts something forth. Somehow, he doesn't know what to say.

I do enjoy working on their very specific brooding bonding but I'm having a lot of fun leaning more into the vibe from the old fight comic and just them having a go at each other. Really fun Friends to Lovers setup.
