`✧ ｡ SPITFIRE!*

i. i used to professionally stage act back when i lived in england. my theatre specifically performed shakespeare, and i’ve held a total of 13 different roles. my most common and prominent ones were ophelia from hamlet and ross from macbeth.

ii. i’m an almost-published author lmao. i have three manuscripts in the works and a few agents who’ve taken interest in them. once i get my act together and actually edit them i’ve got a good chance of going legit. 

iii. i can read quite a few dead languages, such as anglo-saxon, middle english, and latin. my degree doesn’t require as much, but i figured it would be a good idea to teach myself how to read them anyhow. i actually get referred to quite a lot by the department because of this ^^;

iv. i’ve played bioshock nd bioshock infinite like 15 times all the way thru on varying difficulties. those games nd virtue’s last reward are probably my absolute favourite video games in existence ( sotc nd ico are a super close second tho,,, cries ). if those games were people i would not hesitate 2 die for them.

v. even though i generally have dude muses, all of my faves are female. every time. i find writing for guys/nb characters a bit easier though because otherwise i get a surge of dysphoria and self-loathing aopfhwoifhaweio which is kind of a bullshit excuse i kno, but still

vi. i’ve been puked on by a turkey vulture before. fun times.

vii. along with english lit, i study biology and do a lot of lab work. i’m a bit of a novice in the field, but i specialise in botany and marine life, and i do work with a bit of genetics now and again. 

viii. i’ve seen the movie “the road to el dorado” so many times my friend crystal and i can quote the entirety of it together. whenever we see one another we re-enact the duel scene 8′^I shes the tulio to my miguel.

ix. i fckn love reading people’s 'about me’ / rules pages. i love learning about people an i love meeting new people who have the same interests as me. i don’t mind long rules pages, either, in fact i prefer clarity over brevity most of the time. i also really like going through ooc tags on people’s blogs so i can learn more abt em. i like to know the people i’m writing with tbh, it helps me relax and write replies better.

          And to think that he'd assumed everyone's relationship drama had been prudently left behind in Republic City for good; that his brother of all people should be having problems with his love life is only slightly surprising, but that's not to say he had PLANNED to be some sort of middle-man throughout the tribulation ( in fact, he doesn't even know how to go about handling... whatever this situation actually is ). It's with some deal of shakily-veiled maladroitness whereby he answers, scintillae of caution mixed with incredulity decorating the tone.

god   -   like  in  every  way   ,   she  moves  aggressively    ;    fingers  flex    &    hands  weave   ,   her  element  of  water  following    &    hitting  whatever  target  she  set  to  attack   .       (     posiedon’s  waters  flow  through  her  veins   ,   mixing  with  crimson  ichor   —-   one  could  say  she’s    all  water    !     )      at  last  she    strikes   ,   a  stream  of  water    s  h  o  o  t  i  n  g    past  her    &    hitting  the  target   —————   a  satisfied    laugh    leaves  from  her  lips  as  it  falls   ,   blue   -   clad  arms  finding  the  air   .        then  she  turns  to  face  him   ,   smile  remaining  on  her  cheeks   .

         and sentiment is  met with a roll of his shoulder, cant of his head — an attempt to eschew any and all weariness in overworked limbs. Yet sparks linger atop flexed fingers even still, laced between palms but moments ago; in tacent dignity he casts a sidelong glance, eyes fixated on the one-woman battle before him ( to say he's impressed would be a hapless understatement; she moves with the confidence of twenty men --- and for a moment it's easy to get swept up in her tidal-wave morale, to feel that self-same conviction that they can't possibly lose ).

          So a brusque ❛ Yeah ❜ sates the unanswered question, though by timbre alone the notion appears contradictory, a cursory counter rather than an agreement of excitement. In truth, he's counting his blessings that they even made it this far: for what it was worth, all odds had been against them; now it was a matter of making sure not to squander the scintillae of good luck that they'd been given. ❛ It won't be easy, but I'd put my money on us.   --- I mean, if I had any to put on us. ❜
