All right you filthy animals come get your Heartful AU:

A comic in which Pomni and Caine share a drunk conversation about what it means to be human. (My AU subscribes to the theory that these are brain scan copies of people. While some think this means nothing mattered in the story because they're "not human," Zooble/Gangle and even Caine's absolute adoration for humans says otherwise)

Porygon-Z and Dedenne re-inaction of the Heartful AU I guess LOL It's fun to imagine Beta Caine/Red AI as Porygon, the Blue AI as Porygon2, and Final Caine as Porygon-Z. TOO fitting actually. And Pomni's a computer mouse!

We've seen his nightmares, but now he's starting to dream. And it's not something he's exactly happy about. What happens when a robot loves, TRULY loves? What happens when a robot starts to yearn?

Assorted doodles. Caine's first act of genuine kindness is installing a character customization module, all on his own. It's still... Limited to what he knows like he reaaaally doesn't know how to model proper humanoids outside of toys, but still feels more freeing for everyone involved, even himself.

He's dead. He doesn't get to see the end, he doesn't get to learn, he doesn't... He doesn't get that. Kinger misclicked, and he's dead and gone. He is erased from reality and all he can say before it happens is "wait-" because he needed more time to adjust he needed more time he needed an ending or closure or anything but he doesn't. Get it. He doesn't get it and it's awful and he was awful but he didn't deserve to die like that.

There is genuine grief im feeling over the Digital Circus that i had all planned out in my head. Im so sad and upset that the potential is just... Gone... And i loved something that just was never real...

I respect Goose's choice, but... The grief... It hurts. Its like having a loved one die and being told to completely forget their existence... No... It was there... It was loved... It was kind... It introduced me to so many friends, memories... opportunities... Why should I just leave it because it was "silly"? That something that brought me so much joy and took me out of my depression was "silly"? That it was never Goose's intention so it doesn't matter... That it was all in my head and I never should have let it build up...

last book: If audiobooks count, Every Day I Read by Hwang Bo-Reum. It's a collection of essays about how to get the most out of reading, and it really made me reflect on my own reading journey and gave me some solid insight on how to better absorb what I read (the irony is not lost on me that I listened to a book about reading rather than actually, physically reading it lol).

last song: "On The Way" by AiNA THE END (I've had an ongoing DanDaDan fixation for the last year and I adore the OPs/EDs).

last movie: My goal this year is to watch more movies but I have been failing miserably at that haha...pretty sure my last one was Persepolis about a month ago.

last series: I'm still slowly making my way through The Apothecary Diaries anime and plan to read the light novels once I catch up. I've also been reading The Murderbot Diaries series off and on and love it, I need to catch up before the next book.

salty or sweet: I have a major sweet tooth, though sometimes my preference depends on my mood.

coffee or tea: Tea!! But is that really a surprise lol

working on: Work has been severely kicking my ass and draining all my time and motivation lately but I have been slowly chipping away at my (extremely delayed) Whumpuary fics, my current one focuses on Pomni having (yet another) existential spiral in the aftermath of the events of episode 7 (it may or may not be sliiightly biased toward my favorite ship at that haha).

last book: I’ve been reading my partner Aces Wild: A Heist by Amanda Dewitt. It’s been quite entertaining, and all of the characters are asexual like myself. The main character is from the same part of America as I am (like, the specific area in the state I live in lol), so that’s silly hehe

last song: “MANIAC” by Stray Kids. This is my number one song on my Spotify “On Repeat” playlist rn lol

last movie: IRON LUNG!! It was my first time seeing a movie at the theater in months. I don’t watch as many movies as some of my other friends do, considering most of them study film lol, but I should definitely try to watch more movies this year myself :)

last series: I have so many series on my watch list (most of which I’ve already seen most of, I just haven’t seen a newer season), but I haven’t been watching a ton T-T to be honest, I think my last series was Stranger Things; I finished the final season with my mom earlier this month or late last month

salty or sweet: Ooo, salty for me, probably. I crave sweet things often too, but nothing makes me salivate like falling down a rabbit hole of salty and savory cooking videos in my Instagram reels T-T

coffee or tea: Of the two, tea! However, I don’t really drink either of these a ton. But my mom’s been brewing a lot of chai tea recently, and I love chai tea, so I’ve been enjoying that a lot these past few weeks

working on: Things have been so insanely busy for me recently, but there’s a couple things I’m working on. The biggest thing is school related. For my senior project, I’m writing a biography about my grandmother. She was born in Korea during the time of Japanese colonialism, ran away at eight years old to hide in Japan for many years, traveled to America, etc. She’s lived an amazing life, and I’ve been wanting to write about it for a while now. She gave me newspaper clippings from an interview someone conducted with her back in ‘86, so I had to translate all eight installments (as they were all in Korean T-T). Since I’ve been so busy with this project, I haven’t had the time to work on a lot of fics :( but I wrote a Febuwhump fic that I just have to edit and post!! It’s definitely late, as the prompt was from the first week of this month, but better late than never, I suppose lol. I had other plans for Febuwhump, but those might be delayed because of school. However, I intend to post them eventually!!

last book: Restart by Gordon Knorman, a very short book I used to like as a kid that I found in a thrift shop and decided to reread! It’s about a boy who has an accident and loses his memory, who gradually finds out as he returns to school that he was the WORST person in the entire world and decides to try and make up for it. It’s uh. not great, but nostalgic, and pretty cute.

last song: Dough Re Me by the Stupendium <33 i love Stupes they put out nothing but bangers

last movie: uhhh I think it was The Princess Bride! my dad and I hadn’t gotten to spend time in a while so we sat down and decided to try a princess bride drinking game I have saved. we used kombucha lol. she finished hers about halfway through but I stayed on track, it was a lot of fun. good movie

last series: your boy went back to Rise of the TMNT chat I had a temporary turtle reawakening in the midst of all the digital circusing. watched Mystic Library/The Purple Game which is such a fun one, I love Donnie so much

salty or sweet: depends on which one I’ve already had more of because then I’ll crave the other. honestly it depends on how I feel in the moment but I’ll usually go sweet, I love me a little treat hehe

coffee or tea: coffee flavor in desserts and candy, but I much prefer to drink tea. Though it’s usually a fruity little number from the on-campus cafe or the sweet tea my grandma makes which can hardly be considered tea as it’s 3/4ths sugar

working on: oh so many things. where to begin. welllll if you saw a certain reblog chain a few days ago I’m working on a fun little AU with a new friend >:3 I also have three Digital Circus fics I’m chipping away at, other fandom stuff has been put aside for those. there’s quite a few things I want to draw but admittedly picking up the stylus has been difficult, I think I just took too long of a break and have to find my rhythm again. I’ve also got a bit of school stuff, you know how it is. and!! I bought a button maker 😼 so that has taken up a lot of my attention, it’s so much fun. Expect an art post and maybe an Ao3 post soon

last book: For non-fiction it was The Dressmakers of Auschwitz which was a history of women who sewed to survive in the concentration camps, as well as delving into the ways that WWII and the Holocaust influenced fashion of the time period. For fiction, it was The Ritual, which is about four guys in the wilderness of Sweden. Very bloody but well written but I enjoy the movie more in terms of the portrayal of the characters, explanation of events, and ending (though the endings are pretty similar).

last song: Automatic by Half-Alive. It's on one of the playlists in my current circulation lol

last movie: The Ritual. I had to watch it after reading the book.

last series: The Fallout series. I love it, and will probably be rewatching Derry Girls next.

salty or sweet: Salty. I'm definitely a salty person. Though I do love the occasional sweet treat.

coffee or tea: I may be a coffee drinker on the daily, but I tend to enjoy a cup of tea far more.

working on: Oh god where do I start? There's the multiple fanfiction projects, the cosplay project, building my DnD campaign, setting up the bioactive terrarium for Becky, making earrings for my landlord to sell (don't worry, she pays me), and making myself some new bleach painted t-shirts for some friends. Oh! And making my outfit for the "outshine the bride" wedding I'm attending in a couple months.

last book: I constantly have about 5 books in rotation so this one is funny for me to answer. Last finished? Thought by Tim Bayne, it's part of A Very Short Introduction series by Oxford University press, these books are great if you want a quick rundown on basically any academic subject. This one went over a bunch of linguistic, philosophical and ethical theories of what thought is. How it's defined, by who, what makes human thinking distinct from critters (if it's distinct at all), logical fallacies of thought and how thoughts can reflect reality (or not). Other books I'm currently in the middle of include Bram Stocker's Dracula, Dan Simmon's Hyperion, Molly Tanzer's Creatures of Will & Temper, and finally I'm rereading Kandinsky's Concerning the Spiritual in Art.

last song: GIRL HELL 1999 by Femtanyl, I have one feminine braincell and its rage but also this song just scratches my brain just right for locking in on an illustrative project and I do listen to it on repeat

last movie: Jumanji! I've been having movie nights with friends every week and we are making our way through a massive (100+) list of everyone's recommended and nostalgia trips. Jumanji is one of my childhood movies and I'm pretty sure I drove my parents insane with how often I played it on repeat lol I even have the board game stashed away somewhere

last series: Still watching Hellsing Ultimate, I'm rewatching it with my husband (his first watch) and we're on episode 8, I think? We watched the original Hellsing before this and I'm making him watch Hellsing Abridged when we're done

salty or sweet: usually salty but I am currently trying not to devour an entire box of 50% off valentines day chocolate

coffee or tea: Again, usually coffee (oh so much coffee) but I'm currently out and decided to ease off the caffeine for a bit and I am drinking SO much black tea to compensate

working on: I'm a full time artist so I have a LOT of creative projects constantly going. Very long term I have my comic, Dark Skies Below, and I'm finishing arc 3's outline while fluffing out A2, and I've started thumbnailing for Ch. 1/A1 (figuring out panel flow) It's a big project and I'm under no delusions I'll be finished with it anytime soon. My current writing project is my TADC fanfic, King of the Castle (King of my Heart) and I am so close to finishing ch. 6, it just needs a little more and I have two illustrations for that one (but I do keep getting distracted by ch. 7 smut eheheh). Finally I've got my abstract watercolor/ink series that I'm putting together for submitting to an art gallery, I don't normally post my traditional work but maybe I should take some good photos of a few of them to share here. They're very cellular and I typically take a lot of inspiration from patterns in nature. There are also tentative plans on making a commission pricing sheet. Extremely tentative

last book: Okay, I admit I feel a bit silly after seeing everyone else reading serious/academic books and then there's me saying I read The wild Robot trilogy, I'm sorry. I loved the movie, it's my comfort movie so I was curious about the books

last song: HONEY (Are you coming) from Måneskin, I just love them, all their songs are addictive

last movie: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. My cousin and I were bored, and he loves DC, so we decided to watch it and it wasn't bad. I used to love Marvel, so I like superheroes

last series: The Amazing Digital Circus, I fear I can't get them out of my head (help)

salty or sweet: I'd say salty, things that are too sweet give me a headache for some reason. I like a good chocolate, tiramisu or tres leches (three milk cake in english?) but I don't eat them regularly

coffee or tea: I absolutely LOVE coffee. Once I tried coffee beans covered in dark chocolate, it was good. Caffeine doesn't really affect me, but I'm trying to cut down because of my stomach

working on: Since my job takes up most of my time, I'm not doing much as an artist, not as much as I'd like, but I'm slowly working on an illustration, short comic? TADC related (more angst coming yay) Coincidentally, I'm also working on fanart for King of the Castle, King of my heart, because I love that fanfic (and I promised it months ago) I swear I'm on it, just very very slowly. I have plans for more drawings and animatics, but I'll have to make time for them first

Besides, I did see that we had Showtime Week, so there was no way I could just ignore that completely.
