"Cassio."
“Talon,” she responded with a slight inquisitorial note to her tone.
rainbowblade-talon:
“I live in the manor, remember? I’m finally free from going on missions for a time.“ There was another pause as Talon glanced at her home. Not as ornate as the manor-or as ornate as Talon thought she liked-but it wasn’t far. “I thought I’d stop by.”
The awkwardness at the pull of her lips eased a little - oh thank goodness this wasn’t some kind of business visit.
“Well then.” She readjusted her poise somewhat, straightening her back and pushing herself a little higher up on her tail. Better to be a respectful host than a scornful ‘sister’. “Would you like to come in? Perhaps share a drink?”
The mention of drink led to the small host of servants to cease their loitering in wait about the door in order to set up a tea table: they didn’t know whether he’d be staying for it, but it was always better to make the effort.
