COMPANY BACKGROUND AND STRUCTURE
In its short history Putra Masindo Company has gained considerable ground. In just over a year, this company has expanded the business nationally following by having cooperation with other companies internationally.
Since setting up its first company division and head office in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1998, Putra Masindo Company has diversify the business into scaffolding industry in the middle of 2006, which now with the company patent called as Putra Masindo Scaffolding Company.
Putra Masindo Scaffolding Company provides frame work and scaffolding services, with the added benefit of transportation services in Indonesia.
Putra Masindo Scaffolding Company itself is a company which located in Indonesia. This company has started scaffolding business in scaffolding and construction industry since 2006. The company started the scaffolding business by investing the capital by buying the scaffolding equipments.
In 2008, the company was renting and selling the equipments to contractors and suppliers who in turn rent and sell to their contractors locally, in state, and has expanded nationally and internationally. Cooperate with other companies is one of ways expanding the business by importing the scaffolding equipments.
However, Putra Masindo Scaffolding Company has planned to expand their business not just by providing scaffolding service, but having transportation services, which is covered Java Island, and Sumatra Island.

As Putra Masindo Scaffolding Company growth in the industries, there are vision and mission of the company that keep supporting and lead in order to fulfill the objectives of the Putra Masindo Scaffolding Company.

In this process, besides customers, we are trying to fulfill the interest of all other involved parties.”

Putra Masindo Scaffolding Company, as mention in section 1.0, is a company that started running the business for few years which has a flat structure organization that consists of one managing director, one manager, and staffs. The managing director makes decision for the company leads the manager in achieving the company’s objectives.
However, by having flat structure in the company, communication between the staffs and the managers are very well, therefore team work in the company is very well manage and the team members do not feel uneasy in showing their ideas.
As shows in figure 1, the director is placed on the top of the flow chart, which means the one who in charge of running and make a decision. The second from the top is the manager, which is in charge in managing and directing three main divisions in order to run the business well. The three divisions are Financial, Marketer, and Warehouse. Where the financial department is dealing with all the financial matters, the marketer is dealing with marketing strategies, and the warehouse is dealing with managing all the matters in the warehouse.
