SCARRED

“…That’s contradictory… Asking me a question before telling me to leave.”

The deity cooed, a sardonic grin spreading across his guise’s face. Sharp, malice-filled eyes observing the red-haired boy. Unblinking.  Though, careful to take note of the destruction that had befallen that room of the apartment. 

Off-white fabric strewn across the floor- tattered remains of a futon. Along with other fabrics of different colours and textures. Not much needed to be said to figure out what the boy had done. Neither had Kagutsuchi been particularly interested in the carnage, nor would he be able to sway Sho to tell him what called for it. 

Instead, he would inquire information relating to other matters.

“Why do you raise your weapons…? I am rarely the one to attack you first. And I have no intention of using your body again. A puppet who cannot be controlled is of no use to me.”

“W-well... well, that’s real contradictory too! If somethin’ can’t be controlled, they’re not a puppet! That’s just obvious!”

The cruel expression on the bear’s face unnerved the teen enough for him to unconsciously take a step back. However, despite his fear, Sho refused to lower his blades, each held up in front of him, creating a barrier between the two forms.

(Logically, they could do nothing. If the god wanted to reach Sho, there was nothing swords could do to stop him. And they did nothing to block Kagutsuchi’s words. Comfort was the only thing they provided.)

“Hey.. if I buy you lunch, will you go to Junes with me?”

The words were mumbled, obviously frustrated a fairly forced, after a few minutes of trying to find anything to eat in his cabinets. 

Sho’s breath was heavy and ragged as he looked over his bedroom, the remains of blankets and pillows, newly shredded by the swords clutched desperately in each hand, falling to ground around him. He didn’t remember what had upset him enough to throw him into a rampage, but it seemed his possessions had once again paid the price of his rage. 

It was dumb, and upsetting in of itself, but the situation only worsened when the atmosphere in the room became heavier. Spinning around, the teen raised his weapons defensively at the sight of the god.

[[ She is the Sho guardian. Guardian of the Sho. Ikutsuki and Kagutsuchi quiver before her.

[[ Also- We now know what was going on with Sho when Kagu had. You know. And tbh, that was low-key terrifying???

[[ In all seriousness, this kinda proves that Minazuki became Sho’s persona. Which.. makes me happy. Minazuki isn’t truly gone. Sho isn’t theoretically alone. Despite not having that other voice in his head to talk to, gahh… Q w Q

[while i had been hoping to get on here this weekend, i didnt expect the confidence to get on Tonight but im. here.

“…Are you one of Maki-chan’s friends?” The latter word was spoken with a good amount of contempt. He was purposefully ignoring the boy’s words.
