Next I planned to visit Town high school where he studied. The school which had its own glory during early 1900s was so still and calm. There were notable alumni for this school. Town high school was the only high school for all the villages near by and people travelled miles to study there.

Education was not sold and people craved for knowledge during that time.

I also had a chance to Kumbakonam govt college. Entry was restricted to outsiders but you can cross the bridge. When we went there , some construction work was going on.

Once it had student like Ramanujar. Now it had lost its glory and windows and doors were broken due to clash between the students. There was a small park in the front which had Ramanujam's statue. That was also in bad state.

It was during 2024, I got a mysterious dream. I was in the house of Srinivasa Ramanujam. Every side I saw were filled with theorems and numbers. I couldn't get the meaning of the dream but then on I wanted to visit his place in Kumbakonam.

I got a chance after few months. Its near sarangapani Kovil in kumbakonam. currently It was under the possession of Sastra university. Few years back , it was not owned and Ramanujam's Place was unknown to anybody.

A friend from London visited India and he wanted to visit this place. It was unknown even to auto drivers and he felt bad about it. He was telling us that how the Britain people treat Ramanujam in London. He has a place in Cambridge university. The whole university talk about him even today. but here we are ashamed even to name our kids after his name. Thank God it was not the same case now. Atleast we have the house in good condition. There was a room in his house where he used to spend reading and writing his theorems. The bed is there even today. I felt the reality vanish and I was taken to 1800s. when there was no vehicles. People going to the temple stop by and talk a little with Ramanujam and pass by.
