I know this is like, my third AC custom design post in a row but I made another, just in time for the cherry blossom season! It has blossoms all over the front/back/sleeves, although itās a bit difficult to see them in the bright sunlight.
I struggle with the automatic smoothing so most of my designs turn into blobs, but Iām happy with this little mermaid tail/scale pattern sarong I made. š

Doing what I usually do when I donāt have much energy for art, which is slapping bows on random objects. An anchor, this time! ā
Iām really excited for ACNH, so Iāve already made my flag! :) I donāt know which colour Iāll use yet but since itās also a repeatable pattern, I thought itād be fun to use it for furniture designs too. I have a vague memory of maybe seeing something like this a long time ago, so if anyone knows of an artist who has done a similar design in the past, please let me know so I can credit them! Pictures are transparent (except the single flag design at the top), in case anyone wants to use them for personal use. Reposting because Iām silly and forgot to include the green shells!
Slime! I've wanted to see if I could take any interesting pictures of this slime for a while so I threw it together with some other bits and pieces. I didn't really achieve the effect I wanted, I really should've used my tripod to avoid the blurring. But, it was still fun to take some pictures and mess around on Photoshop.
Blog Name Change
Hi everyone, I'm thinking about changing the name of my blog. I've grown attached to 'Sugar Coated Unicorns' but I'd like something a little bit shorter, although I havenāt 100% decided on an alternative name as of yet. So, I just wanted to let you all know, in case the change causes any confusion (although my logo/header will remain the same until I can make new ones).

Detective Pikachu is super ableist please stop likeā¦ Conveniently ignoring that fact? I loved Justice Smith and I loved Ryan Reynolds and seeing all the Pokemon was great but Iām so sick of everyone pretending the movie was flawless when the villain is a disabled man trying to āevolve into a better version of himselfā by abusing people and Pokemon so he could be not disabled anymore and the worst part is that this plot is completely unrelated to the plot of the game like the character isnāt disabled in the game and isnāt even the villain in the gameā¦. Idk if he even is in the game but if he is heās a minor character who isnāt disabled. I didnāt hear a peep about it from anyone who saw it opening weekend like I know y'all hate spoilers but a simple āhey this movie has a really prominent ableist plot specifically against physically disabled peopleā would be more than enough of a warning but nobody said a god damned word until days after its release and disabled ppl were the only ones I saw talking about it, and only because we were already hurt by it.
I hate to admit it but yeahā¦
Man, I was so excited to see this film, but now Iām a bit disappointed. Iād still quite like to see it but Iām glad I was made aware of the ableism beforehand, I havenāt seen anyone else talking about it so I wouldāve been completely unaware if I hadnāt seen this post.
