Hey!!1 it was my 20th birthday yesterday. feeling weird. I went out tuesday night and got drunk with friends. it was fun. I made friends with this guy from LA and he said meeting us has been the best part of living here so far which felt really nice to hear. he might be moving back in december which makes me sad. hes really great and has a good sense of humour. I'm going to invite him out to all of our get togethers to make sure he enjoys his possibly last month here. I'm doing okay. class is very mediocre. don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing but its okay? I'm good thats all that really matters

I don't have classes next week, or this week really. ive had nothing really to do which is weird? I thought id be filled up with a load of work to do but in reality ive had barely any. I completed the last of us for the first time this week. amazing game. I'm about to start the second one. seeing friends tonight though- were gonna make food together and play borderlands which should be fun. trying to have a cheap week or two before halloween/my birthday. I'm gonna be 20?!?! young I know. but also.... wow. didnt really think id make it past 18. I'm proud of myself. moving has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. met so many lovely friends. finally feel welcome somewhere. and I can almost go see my favourite boy!!! the nexxt two months are going to be exciting. I cant wait. ill try update soon :)

how long has It been since I posted here?!? damn I'm slacking so hard. but things are going super well. living and enjoying life. making lots of new friends. experiencing a lot of new things. I'm a little sick right now which sucks. but either way everything is great. in november international travel fully resumes which means....... I can meet him. SHIT. I cant wait. I'm probably going to go mid december just because I cant miss class. but I'm going to be going to see him and I'm so excited. fuck. I havent sent off his birthday presents yet. I'm terrible. but technically its not my fault I'm waiting for things to be delivered. which just means I keep on buying him more stuff hahahaha I love him a lot. and I'm very excited.

class has been.... interesting. mainly just a way to make new friends. but I did have to create a short film today which was something completely different to what I'm used to. its been cool. ill try update again soon. having a cheap week this week since I'm literally like -£50 into my overdraft. I'm terrible ha. but I get paid on friday which is good. going out to see friends tomorrow and probably out on saturday too. then ill have another quiet week to get some money saved up instead of blowing it all on drinks like I have been (guilty) young and dumb. its okay. got great times to show for it :)

Ive been going out SO much lately, I need to slow down a little, just because my bank cant keep up with it ha. I should stop eating out as much seen as though I have food at home and have rent to pay. I'm saying all of this right now while also going to a nightclub tonight, friday and saturday...... oops

Most of my friends are bartenders so we all hang out when they are working and stuff. Ive made a surprising amount of new friends and even got invited to a concert on sunday with a group of bartenders at the bar I usually go to which was fun- nu metal band. never even heard of them before sunday but they were actually super good. I'm doing well. excited for when the borders open up in november so i can go see him. but yeah I'm doing super good for the first time in so long I'm so happy :)

FUN! its almost the end of september. I did all of these things apart from making a september playlist but thats fine

I have this favourite bar near where I live. its great.punk, emo, metal and everything else. you can request songs and ive become friends with the bartenders. we stay until closing and then go out to other bars after. I love this place. ive been eating out a loooooot. need to eat at home more. I starte university this week. well kind of anyway. no real classes start until next week but ive met a bunch of lovely people. its my favourite boys birthday today. I love him. yesterday the bbc announced that travel to the States will resume in november!!!!!! aka my birthday. I'm going to go see him. I cant wait.

every time I go to my favourite bar I come out with so many new friends its wonderful. so many interesting people. its so unusual having so many people know you and want to hang out. but I like it. just need to be sensible :)

ill try update this more. I feel like I abandoned this as I moved because I'm always busy and when I'm not I'm sleeping ha

everything is really okay right now and I'm not too used to that. but I really love it

I’m so excited to send off a birthday package for him in a few weeks. The presents will arrive after his birthday which kinda sucks. (Just because of our distance being 3000 miles and waiting for things to be delivered here for me to send him) but I hope he likes what I’m going to send him. I’m just really excited to give him something I’ve touched you know? That might sound weird. But it’s just nice to know we’re becoming more than just a digital thing. Even though we’ve always been online because of our distance. Adding a bit of realism by sending packages will be so sweet

Life is really good right now. Still talking to him. I really want to go see him soon aaargh

I was super nervous about my roommates being assholes but they are all so cool!! were going to a bar together later tonight I cant wait

moving out was the best decision I ever made- doing really well right now :)

Had a lovely weekend hanging at rock bars and going to the best pop punk festival local to me. was awesome. saw mayday parade and anti flag along with a bunch of other awesome bands. made friends with some super cool people too. one of them lives in the city too. hopefully i start hanging out with them more :)

I have an italian and a Scottish roommate. both guys. both seem like awesome people. I like it here :)

Successfully moved in. I’m in love with my room. I went on a little walk earlier. I love the streets around here there’s art and graffiti on the walls. Murals. Everything. Even if it’s shitty art I don’t care because it’s colour and it’s lovely

I got my keys today!!!

It’s very exciting. I’m proud of myself.

I went and dropped some stuff off at my place today and bumped into one of my roommates. I forgot his name and feel bad about it but he seemed nice. We didn’t talk much because I was only in there for a few minutes but hopefully I can get to know all my roommates soon after I’ve got settled in my room.

Tonight I’m just laid in my bed at my parents house. Walls stripped of all my pictures and posters. Everything gone. Kinda sad but also kinda proud. I never really expected to get to the age of 18. Now I’m about to turn 20 and I’m moving to my favourite city In my country for a year before hopefully going abroad. There’s a lot of memories here. I’m kinda just trying to feel and remember them all tonight before I’m gonna tomorrow. Then this room is going to my sister.

I’ll miss having my youngest sister around. And my mother. The dumb jokes we have and everything. Having family come hang out and me just being there to see them. I’m gonna miss that side of things. And my pets too. Cat and a dog. I love them both so much. After work I’ll come home and sit on the floor cuddling my dog at like midnight. I’ll miss that so much. But I’m very proud and very excited of the things around the corner.

I took a little walk around where I’m moving to. I know most of the area in the main city. But I’m a little out by the park. I spotted a few shops and bars I can start hanging out at. And cafes and cute stores I need to check out at some point. Plus…. I should go enjoy some sun before the cold comes in….. there’s a skatepark right by my house….. oh yeah… I dunno if I mentioned that. I also have skated for the past 8 years on and off. I should start hanging out there and make some local friends. It’s just gonna be weird being so far away from friends. Usually we’ve all been in the same town. Now I’m going to be a 30/40 minute train ride away. I know it’s still not much. But it’s more than a five minute walk..

Anyways I should sleep. It’s getting late 12:30am. And I’m moving tomorrow. Spend all afternoon packing I’m tiiiiired. Busy day coming up. But at least after that I can relax for a few days before the festival on Saturday :)
