Work in Goddess

hello old friend, i havent posted on here in months and it almost feels like i was missing a part of me. a part that made me happy and escape for just a bit from reality. real life isnt perfect...mines been far from it. Looking back at how I was a year ago.....makes me well cringe a little but proud because I survived and surpassed obstacles and a downward spiral. I am not perfect and thats totally okay. I’ve found a new job, discovered another kind of faith I never had, am currently trying to back on a workout grind.

I’ve met new and diverse people at work, the clients at work have really taught me to look at life, MY LIFE differently. So it’s an understatement to say I feel more grateful everyday, even on the bad days.

I’m still working on myself, on my life..for the better

but in all honesty what really surprised me...was that I finally Love myself. yes that sounded so self centered but its the truth.

Yes, we wake up every day and shower, put food into our bodies, watch netflix, go to work, go to school, pay our bills....that is just human survival...human instinct .....the daily routine...but you don’t hear many people say I do all of this because I love myself.

I went through years back and forth hating myself, hating the world, feeling like shit and taking shit from ...some people. Other people have it worse, I don’t deny that. But i feel like I finally landed in a place where i’m at peace with myself. I love me, I said it and I WILL NOT CHANGE MYSELF for anyone.
