You never liked the color of yellow, it’s a contrast to your greyscale life you’ve been leading since the day you’ve regained your consciousness.
Yellow is too warm for your comfort, too warm that it could burn if you get too close.
Yellow was bestowed with happiness that you wished you were given even just a speck of it.
But it’s the color of yellow that captures your attention that day, His blond locks that glisten under the amber light of the day.
You never once welcome the warmth of yellow, yet traces of gold-like features fill your daily life, engulfing your once monochromic life.
Now basking under the unpigmented light of the morning, a gold band resting on your left hand and a blonde bundle of joy finding peace in your arms, after a non-stop crying session the night before.
Exhaustion and sleepiness seeping through your core wearing your vision down, a warm palm glazes down your cheeks, reawakening you once more. Greeted by a familiar blonde with pecks all over your face.
“You should go to bed, I’ll take him” carefully transferring your son to his father’s arm, you watch how your son faces scowl from being moved to burying himself more in Kento’s arm once realizing who holds him now.
You never liked the color of yellow, yet you wouldn’t trade this golden life for the world.

Hi can i request an SMAU where reader asked another man (this could be their dad or brother or uncle or stranger or anything really) for help around the house since after asking the JJK men for a while they didn’t do it? Sorry if this doesnt make sense
ʚɞ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ WORK IT...ʚɞ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
SMAU: asking jjk to help u fix something but they don't help so you get someone else to help u
INCL: gojo, geto, nanami, toji, choso
WARNINGS: suggestive lang
AN: tysm for the request
(teen!)nanami worries about you (1,015 words) by kunasmoochies 💋
As you open the door to your dorm, Nanami's eyes start flickering between you and the clock on the desk. It's close to 10:30 at night. You're not surprised to see Shoko sitting up, finally awake from her nap; but across from her is none other than Nanami himself. You try not to look guilty as you close the door with your foot, sliding out of your slip ons.
You have two sodas, your phone (with the flashlight still on), your keys and a fast food bag in your grip.
"Where were you?" Nanami asks plainly. You look between him and Shoko.
"Um. Hello to you too, nice to see you in my dorm... I went for a walk, stopped to get some food." You say, locking the door and turning the overhead light on.
"At this time of night? And by yourself?" Nanami's heart is at the top of his throat now. He hates the idea of you taking these night walks by yourself; unsure if he would hate the idea of you going on them with someone else more.
"Well.. Shoko knows I go on these walks quite frequently!" You say, trying to shuffle some of the blame onto your friend, who takes the soda you pass to her. The truth is that you stopped asking Shoko; because she always declined them and you knew she was tired from her daily schedule. By the time you'd decide to go on a walk Shoko would already be in the bed snoozing. Shoko never complained because she would wake up by the time you got back; and more importantly she figured that you could handle yourself if anything were to happen.
Which.. quite frankly is how you see it. You keep your head on a swivel, and you walk fast. You know how to fight, run, kick and scream- but to be honest you don't think the walk is that far and this area is far too nice for something like that to happen to someone like you.
You don't realize that you say that outloud- but the look on Nanami's face makes you think he's five minutes away from a conniption.
"Are you.. stupid?" Nanami asks, an incredolous look on his face as he sits on the corner of your bed. You stop and let out a laugh of disbelief.
"No…" you trail off, standing awkwardly. Nanami sighs as he takes your hot phone and turns the flashlight off. "What's the purpose for the flashlight?" he asks.
"It illuminates my way back." You say quickly. "Plus if someone is driving they see the light before they see me."
Nanami lets out a harsh exhale, squeezing his eyes shut and taking a deep breath. "How often are you taking these evening walks?" he asks.
"Maybe once or twice a week. I don't always go the same route, and there are other people out too. If it's that bad I can take the bus if I need to, and if I get scared I can always call Shoko." you trail off as you place the bag of fast food on the nightstand.
"Call Shoko.." Nanami repeats. "If you're scared you can always call Shoko." Nanami shakes his head, running a hand through his blonde strands. He stands up in front of you, his hands on his hips. You reluctantly meet his eyes before he starts to speak again.
"Call me." He says simply.
"Huh?" you reply, sitting still on your bed. You see movement out the corner of your eye, reminding yourself that Shoko is in the room with you. She's been abnormally quiet, watching everything unfold. She hasn't even taken a sip of her soda yet, the fries in the bag getting cold.
"Next time. You call me. If you want to take a walk, go somewhere late at night, call me. I'll come" He says the last part in a softer tone.
"Oh I- I don't want to trouble you" You saw awkwardly, sitting back farther and crossing your legs on the bed.
"You won't. Your safety will never trouble me." Nanami says looking in your eyes.
"Okay" you mutter under your breath. You refuse to acknlowledge how charged the moment feels. Not excitement or butterflies.. but a third thing you will not dissect until he is long gone; back in his own dorm under his own comforter for the night.
"Alright now. Can I see what you have in that bag?" Shoko pipes up, her stomach grumbling lightly. You let out a sigh of relief- happy to have her break the tension in the room. Nanami pulls your desk chair out, sitting, still looking at you. You smile lightly as you offer him some of your fries.
—
"I'm serious. Next time call me. I'll come." Nanami says with complete honesty.
"You worry too much" you say to Nanami, refusing to meet his eyes, your hand gripping the door frame.
He cups your jaw with one hand. "You're worth worrying about." He says calmly.
You nod and smile. The vulnerability in this conversation settles behind your rib cage.
"I'm sorry for scaring you." You say, wrapping your arms around him in a hug. It takes a second, but Nanami hugs you back, squeezing you a little.
"Please let me know when you're back in your dorm room." You say to his back. You watch as he walks down the hall some, turning his head around to smile at you. You smile back, and wave; watching him turn the corner. You lock the door behind you, waiting for your heart to settle.
You shuffle further into your dorm room, mindlessly making yourself busy- throwing tissues out and organizing things on your desk. You refuse to think about the night.
You hear Shoko as she turns the overhead light off; getting ready for bed. You open your mouth, ready to ask if she is spending the night in your dorm or making the short trek down the hall back to hers. But Shoko breaks the silence first. "
You know he likes you, right?" Shoko says.
um my first fanfic/drabble thing on here!! lmao hi! i'm nervous about posting this haha. it just a little thing I had on my mind for a while. I have thoughts about making this into a longer fanfic but who knows... lmao pls like/comment/reblog cus im scayurdddd to post my silly fanfics! but thank you for reading if ya did xoxo
also don't repost my stuff anywhere, don't feed my shit to ai, thankyaaa!
Before you start: Yes, I know that it is currently 8:35 in the morning. I am also aware that you had just clocked in 30 minutes ago. However, I do need the final draft for Project A within 25 minutes.
If you want an extension, I'm afraid it isn't possible. The secretary would like this done at 9:00, therefore, my hands are tied.
You may enter the office without knocking, as you always do. Have the printed copy prepared.
I appreciate you in ways words could never express. What a coincidence it is, that I am currently famished. You know me all too well.
I ordered a latte for you. It will be brought to your table in approximately 15 minutes. I understand that you cannot focus without your morning coffee. Haha.
Also, please refrain from using emojis in emails. It is quite unprofessional. Remember, that although the higher-ups do not mind: it is best to remain as formal as possible.
You are right. I should not have said something so painfully idiotic. My wife is the only woman who I'd talk to this way—work hours or not.
I beg of you to not make me sleep in the guest bedroom. My heart aches at the thought of being away from you. I'm afraid I would not be able to sleep, unless you are safe in my arms.
Would you still like to have lunch with me? If not, I will give you space. I can sit at the next table closest to you and simply stare, yearning to share a meal with the woman of my dreams.
If yes, then I'd be a very happy man. I cannot wait to taste the lunch you packed for me. 😄
I miss you dearly. I find it extremely difficult to remain patient, knowing that you are 4 corridors away, sulking in that uncomfortable chair.
Please sulk next to me. After all, I am the one who got you upset. Allow me to make up for it. You deserve to be pampered, treasured; and I apologize for my lack of better judgement, alongside my incapability to distinguish the special privileges I should bestow upon my wife.
If it were anyone else to use emojis and informal language while emailing me, I would have scolded them fervently. Only my darling wife is exempt from such treatment. As you should be.
the sizzling of scrambled eggs and sausage reverberated through the kitchen. your back was turned from your two girls sitting at the dining table. you could hear your eldest too busy making fart noises with her cheeks that had your your little one in her high chair cackling and shrieking with pure joy. smile tugging at your lips, your moomoo swayed against the cold tiles as you stepped towards the other pan, checking the heart shaped pancakes the girls would flip the table over if they couldn’t have.
your mornings were typically like this before taking the girls to school and daycare, then heading home to get ready for work yourself. but from the depths of your bedroom, you could hear kento rummaging and shuffling about. when you had first tried to wake him this morning, you were met with bloodshot eyes and heavy lids that were begging to hide them, instantly breaking your heart. before you could even think of the words to convince him to shut his eyes and rest, the stubborn blonde had already twisted his lips to ask:
“what time is it?”
and as soon as you told him a little after 7:30 in the morning, you knew your weak attempt of convincing him was long gone. his arm was already yanking the cover off of him like a cape.
“ken!” you called, flipping the golden cakes over, the sweet smell brushing your nose.
“daddy!” your eldest—‘your mini me,’ nanami claimed—called out right after you.
at the sound of his footsteps, yours eyes darted to the kitchen entrance, watching him stream in the kitchen with the same tired eyes you seen already. his hair that was almost always in a pristine swoop, was disheveled and casting a curtain over his forehead. the beige suit jacket he wore that emphasized every muscle in his arm was slung lazily over one shoulder, and his briefcase filled with mountains of spreadsheets and documents were all threatening to escape through the opening.
your eyes went back to the stove, flipping a pancake over once more. you felt his large hand around your waist, pulling you gently back against his chest. you leaned into his familiar warmth as he planted a succession of soft, sleepy kisses to your temple and cheek.
“good morning, honey,” he murmured, his forehead resting against your bonnet. his hand trailed down your hip, giving your ass a light playful tap, discreet enough to pass right over the girls’ head, but enough to make you blush.
you grinned up at him, giving him a look with your eyebrow raised. you turned to the girls briefly before smiling back at him. “aren’t these the same touches from last night that made you oversleep in the first place?” you whispered.
“hmm, i think there were a little more touches than that,” he teased, hand tightening around your waist to tug you back against his chest. more bashful snickers left your lips before you lightly pushed him away.
“eww, are you and mommy kissing over there?” your eldest cooed, childish laughter escaping from her.
you both turned to her, smiling.
“your coffee is on the table,” you told him, eyes focusing on the eggs and sausage in the other pan. “and i already have the steak from last night wrapped in the foil for your lunch.”
he planted one more lingering kiss against the fabric of your bonnet before rushing around the table to his girls. he leaned over his eldest, murmuring “have a great day at school, sweetheart,” as he kissed her forehead. “your spelling test is today?”
even in the midst of him rushing and trudging through exhaustion, you couldn’t help but smile as he always made sure to remember every single detail for the girls.
“yup,” your eldest answered confidently.
“you’re going to ace it, baby,” he assured.
he rushed over to the other side to the youngest, grinning and giggling already seeing her daddy sneakily rush over to her. you heard him plant two huge kisses to her forehead and your arm that was so used to flipping and turning when making breakfast, instantly felt stiff.
there was an uncomfortable pause in the air. like a fresh lemon squeezed in your eyes, you closed it, just waiting for impact of the scene behind you.
big mistake babe, you thought to yourself.
“that’s not fair!” the eldest protested, folding her arms and grimacing at her daddy.
“what’s not fair, sweetheart?”
“she got two kisses, and i only got one!” she whined.
you shook your head, bottom lip tucking behind your teeth to prevent laughter.
“okay, you’re right,” nanami admitted in defeat, rushing over to his eldest to even the score, but the moment he pulled away from the high chair, the toddler took it personally. her lower lip trembled, and her previous giggles were now sniffles.
and as soon as he planted a kiss on the eldest’s forehead, you could hear it echo through the kitchen, before being overtaken by the youngest’s dramatic, sudden wailing.
the eggs, pancakes and scrambled eggs were long done, and the stove was turned off, but you refused to turn around just yet, opting to wait with a mere grin spread across your face.
“damn it,” kento muttered under his breath, peering down at the strict time on his watch that had long left him.
the eldest’s eyes grew wide, a triumphant grin replacing her pout. “ooo daddy! that’s a dollar in the swear jar.”
kento pinched the bridge of his nose, just absolutely defeated by a six-year-old. “yup, sweetie. just put it on my tab,” he sighed, digging a bill out of his wallet and dropping it on the table.
the cries of the youngest still echoed throughout the kitchen. he quickly stepped over and scooped her out of her high chair, holding her secure against his chest. he bounced her gently on his hip, murmuring a few low and soothing words to the toddler until her dramatic wails finally cut short, turning into quiet, satisfied sniffles.
her eyes, hazel like his, widened immediately as you set her plate with tiny cut up pancakes and sausages drizzled in syrup on the table. her body and little legs wiggled in excitement as kento carefully set her back down in her high chair. she clapped briefly before diving into her food, syrup all over her face already.
you watched a much-needed exhale leave his lips. his hooded eyes, completely full of softness, admiring his girls, peaceful and enjoying the well-prepared food set before them. the tension in his shoulders dropped and a genuine tug of a smile pulled at one side of his mouth.
when he turned to grab his briefcase and food, he almost knocked into you. you were already holding his things with an extra plate in front of him, and smiling up at him.
“i got it from here,” you teased. “also i got some extra breakfast for you here.”
a soft chuckle vibrated through his chest as he took the briefcase and food, setting them on the counter so his hands were completely free. he swiftly closed the distance between you two, his large hands anchoring securely around your waist, and your moomoo swaying against the tiles as he pulled you in closer near his chest.
“you’re gonna be late, ken,” you warned, knowing damn well you didn’t care, completely taken by his warmth and hands. you wrapped your arms around his shoulders.
he leaned down, eyes closing as he kissed you deeply. no tongue, or anything too slick, but just a firm and meaningful kiss that took your breath away as if he did. “thank you, honey. for giving me this—for giving me my world,” he said in between the kiss.
as he pulled away, his thumb reached up to gently wipe a smudge of syrup near your lip, making you blush under his touch. he kept his warm gaze on you as he quickly licked the sweetness off his finger before grabbing his things off the counter.
“have a good day at work, baby,” you waved, butterflies fluttering in your stomach as if that wasn’t your husband already.
“i love you,” he whispered, bringing his briefcase to his side, two plates in the other hand. his eyes averted to the strand that fell right at the bridge of his nose.
“bad hair day, i suppose.”
“very bad,” your eldest chimed in, pulling her head back and letting the pancake drop in her mouth.
your toddler, of course, giggled away at her sister’s antics.
a/n: when i wrote “i’ll take it from here,” i sighed so loud

Synopsis. They see you getting a little 'flirty' with someone else. How i think they'd all message you. Reader is in a relationship with them! Masterlist!!
fluff - husband!nanami who comes back from work after a long time being not around.
The lock clicked gently as it turned, ticketing the moment when the deep silence of the midnight apartment was finally shattered.
Nanami went in, closing the door behind him with practiced silent precision, assuming that you were already asleep and didn't want to wake you up. The heavy coat he pulled off his shoulders seemed even heavier as if it were laden with the three long days of that non-stop business trip his boss had sent him on.
He hadn't been home in 72 hours : cold lunch boxes, dull hotel rooms and endless paperwork becoming his routine during that time. He loosened his yellow tie with a long tired sigh as the soft fabric sled through his fingers. He was really tired.
Still, the minute he stepped into the living room, the stiff and cold tension he felt in his shoulders totally disappeared. The apartment was pitch dark, except for the one kitchen light you had left especially for him.
And there, tucked beneath a mountain of blankets, was you. You had clearly tried your best to stay awake for him. The TV still on, casting a soft light across your peaceful face.
Your husband couldn't help the soft smile that settled on his lips. The exhaustion still there, the sight of you warmed his chest enough to make it seem a little lighter. With muffled careful steps, he walked in your direction and knelt right infront of you.
His big, calloused hand reached out, briefly hesitating before brushing your hair away from your face. His touch was so gentle that it was hardly perceivable. How his thumb brushed your cheek in the tenderest way possible, making it seem like a slight worship.
But, you quickly recognized his familiar heat on your face. Your sleep-heavy eyes blinked for a second before opening them and letting your gaze settle on his face, admiring his striking features.
“Kento...”, you whispered, barely audible, your voice hoarse from sleep. “Here I am”, he replied in a murmur, the softness in his voice noticeable. “Im home sweetheart, go back to sleep.”
Though, instead of listening to him, your eyes opened wider and a grin spread across your face. Without a hesitation, you threw the blankets on the floor of the living room and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer. You both sat on the floor with his arms enclosing you.
Nanami sighed softly, happiness warming his heart thinking that he was so lucky to have you. Allowing himself to be pulled by your arms, he nuzzled his face into your neck, leaving soft kisses in there.
“I missed you”, you breathed near his ear, as your hand gently started to scratch at his scalp lightly, fingers threading through his blonde hair. “I missed you more than I thought possible.”
His sweet words filled your chest with warmth. Nanami closed his eyes, his nose taking in the lovely soothing scent of your skin. Being on the floor, and having his arms full of you made the feeling of the past harsh hours and stressful days fade away, replaced by a deep sense of comfort.
Nanami pulled back to look at you, his brown eyes full of affection. Slowly, he inclined his head and planted a soft, drawn-out kiss on your forehead, then on the tip of your nose, and at last, a deep, soft kiss to your lips.
“Let's go to bed”, you let out softly, pulling his shirt.
“Just a minute”. He traced your bottom lip with his thumb. “Hold me like this just a little more.”
You offered him a little smile resting your cheek on his chest as you listened to his steady rhythm of his heartbeat. Nanami's hands tightened around you, his chin coming to rest gently on top of your head in the dim light of the screen.
The past three days had been nothing but chaos and exhaustion, but here, held in your warmth, he finally found peace.

On a Saturday morning in Marley, both you and Levi were granted to spend the day off from your duties. Working as a Scout truly made you mentally exhausted, watching your comrades die and continuously having to swallow your sorrows. Levi wouldn’t always open up to you about losing his companions, but you can see the suffering in his sharp grey eyes. You’ve been in a secret relationship with him for five months, but both of you work immensely hard to keep your affair hidden for the others to not be aware of it.
This morning, you were impatiently waiting to make the most of the personal day with him. Additionally, you were twiddling your thumbs for what will happen forward in this relationship.
You spent the night sleeping and cuddling with him in the bed, so you dragged him to go outside with you while he was deep in his beauty sleep. He convinced you to spend the night in his room instead of sleeping in your own room because he missed being close to your addicting scent. He also gets to have a good rest when you pass the night by his side.
As you were giving your best effort to wake him up, he was refusing to go out of his bed, pushing your arm away with all of his force.
“Give me 5 mins, little brat. I’ve spent the entire night kissing you that I’ve got drunk in love,” Levi mumbled while burying his face in the pillows. You froze at his request, so you ended up agreeing to it.
“Well someone’s poetic this morning,” as you whispered to yourself. You bite your bottom lip to think what you could do while he was resting, so you turned to his side and laid your eyes on his shirtless chest and face. You grab his arm with your right one, and start tracing his face with your index finger, cherishing the remaining time you have left with him. Levi doesn’t flinch at all, letting you caress his left cheek delicately.
Eventually, you decided to let go of his arm and face, and decided to run towards the wardrobe and find clothes for both of you. The Captain buys clothes for you and discreetly places them in his wardrobe and suitcase. He doesn’t want other people to know that those clothes are bought by him, or else, the other Scouts will start interrogating you about your relationship with Levi.
After searching through the closet, you found an appealing dark blue suit that included the pants of the same colour as the suit. You also grabbed a seducing black tie as an addition, found among the closet.
Imagining him in this suit ignited a deep curiosity in you, then turning to glare at his half-asleep state. A grin formed on the corner of your lips, so you head towards Levi to place his outfit beside him, on the side of the bed where you slept. His eyes opened and found himself with his clothes, his eyes widened at the unexpected choice of clothing you made for the day.
Seeing his reaction made your lips curl into a smirk discreetly and left to find yourself a dress. After examining different dresses to find the one that satisfies your heart, you picked the dark brown sundress that reached to your ankles with white polka dots around the outfit. This was the first dress that Levi bought you as a gift, and you still continue to adore it.
As you were starting to get changed, taking off your shirt, you felt two strong arms wrapping smoothly around your waist. Levi’s naked chest touching your bare back, as his hands slowly went down to rest on your hips, with his chin resting on your left shoulder. His warmth covers your cool skin.
“Are you excited to go out?” You asked with a chuckle.
“I think so, unless you want to take a horse and go around the area,” he replied with a slight hint of amusement. His body still pressed finely against yours.
“Levi… I would like to spend the day without riding a horse. I want to feel how it is like being a woman who’s in love with her Prince Charming, walking around with her beloved man.”
Levi nodded to your request and quietly giggled, and let go of your hips to get ready. You were left with your clothes to get changed. Afterwards, you rush to the washroom to do your makeup as quickly as you can so you can make most of the time out.
When you just left the bathroom while placing your lipstick in your purse to go wear your shoes, you noticed Levi’s in front of you, his hand extending towards you to hold your hand. His gesture brought your attention back to him.
“Shall we?” As Levi said, who is close to the doorway to leave.
You agreed, and you recognized yourself that you were blushing at his unexpected approach. Levi took his black-coloured hat and your sun hat from the coat hook, wearing it to be as anonymous as possible, and handed yours. After wearing it on your head, you immediately grabbed his hand, and let Levi lock the door, heading off to the market.
As you were arriving inside the market, noticing the crowd exploring around and picking out things to buy, you were telling him new gossip to ease your mind seeing the busy streets. He was listening carefully and gave small comments along the way, which made you feel better while being in the large number of people.
In the middle of your conversation, your eyes darted at the photo booth. You were too fascinated by this creation. You let go of Levi’s hand and ran to the photo booth, with your eyes mesmerised to go take romantic pictures with Levi. You have always dreamed of doing something that will be engraved in your memory, with the right person in your life.
Suddenly, Levi noticed his hand is not grasping yours, which made him even more concerned about you. His mind gave possibilities of what could have happened to you, as he glanced at his surroundings. He eventually found you standing in front of a photo booth.
“Why did you let go of my hand and decide to run away from me?” Levi questioned you with a slight frown on his eyebrows, walking towards you. You pouted at his question.
“Why would I run away from you? I discovered this beautiful photo booth, so I thought if you wanna go in to take a picture with me. It would be a memorable thing for both of us!” You said as you were convincing him to check it out with you.
Levi shook his head, and seeing his response as a “no” made you roll your eyes for him not agreeing with you. So you wanted to show your desperation by putting your hands together and getting closer to him.
“Pretty please babe. I really wanna do this with you! It will be a treasurable piece of memory,” you said as a way for him to give the nod. Levi took a long moment of silence, as you were impatient waiting for his decision. Once his gaze turned to stare at your eyes, and he ended up agreeing with a sigh.
“Fine. As long as you keep some pictures for me,” he said as he rolled with eyes, maintaining his stoic expression to avoid showing his own anticipation to try out the image booth. You squealed in happiness and clasped your hands together. You hurriedly grabbed Levi’s hand, and ran to go inside the booth.
Once you both got inside while removing your hats, you noticed that the confined space had a flat round chair that was too small for two people to sit. Levi allowed you to sit on his lap, and he extended his arm to insert the money in the coin slot to have 2 copies of the pictures.
You were so close to him physically that you noticed his soft black raven hair touched your shoulder, even feeling his breath brushing your skin from the closeness. His hands were now placed on your waist, which made your heart bloom with warmth. You slightly turned your head towards Levi before the photo taking process started.
“Are you ready love?” You asked as you were eager to know if he had any poses in mind to make for the camera.
Levi rolled his eyes and said, “let’s just take the pictures. I can’t believe that I agreed to do this for you.”
You turned your head back to the camera, scoffed at his comment. You both smiled for the first pose, and you decided to do different poses for other photos. For the last one, without observing his face, Levi’s hand left from your hip to cup your cheek to pull you for a kiss. You were a blushing mess from the unexpected surprise he had done, so you let your eyes close and savoured the moment. Letting yourself drown in his soft lips touching yours perfectly. The camera captured this intimate moment, with Levi’s slight smirk making an appearance in the last photo.
As the machine was preparing the copies, you let go of the kiss because you were out of breath from the deepening kiss Levi had done. Levi let out a soft grin at your reaction to this kiss, while he was adjusting his suit.
“I didn’t expect my girlfriend to blush when her man wanted to kiss for the photo,” Levi says.
You placed your hands in your mouth to cover your laughs at what he had just said as you were waiting for the final photocopies. The photobooth printed the two copies, so Levi snatched the photos before you to take a look of the results, while you were both leaving the booth. You noticed the smile showing in his lips, something that he would never show it to anyone else but you. He handed you a copy of the pictures without making eye contact, as he was too busy staring at your face.
“I absolutely love the pictures! I will keep it as a very precious item in my room,” you stated without seeing his reaction. Levi’s eyes widened in confusion at what you had just said.
“What if someone finds this photo of us in your room?” Levi said as he tried his hardest not to show his blushed face, but it hasn't succeeded since some redness creeped out slightly on his cheeks.
“Ugh you’re right… in that case, I’ll keep it secured in my wallet so I can think of you whenever we’re far from each other during missions,” you said as you grabbed your wallet from the front pocket of your sundress.
“I agree with this. But make sure nobody sees this. It’s between me and you only. That’s an order you cheeky brat,” Levi gave as a response to your method of hiding the photos. He placed them somewhere hidden inside the pockets of his suit, making sure that no one else but you had seen his hiding spot.
“Got it, Captain. Thank you for gladly taking the time to join me in this fun opportunity,” you said with a laugh you wanted to let out. Levi nodded and decided to continue walking, with your arm clinging to his, exploring around the market until the early evening. You both also tried different delicious foods around the open-air market. In your mind, you were still processing this moment of closeness you have both brought into reality.
Imagine your husband was keeping a secret from you,
with Levi Ackerman.

“Don’t you have something to tell me?” You asked, standing by the open door of the nursery Levi—your husband—was building. Your six-month pregnant self leaned onto the door, very much healthy, happy, and content.
Mischievously excited on top of all that.
He stood in the middle of the half empty room with what looked like the printed blueprint of the plan you two agreed on months ago. The dry wall was still exposed, paint buckets organized by hue, his tool box laying somewhere in the corner, tea with swirling steam sitting on the corner of a makeshift table in the room—it was another toolbox, just, bigger.
Levi looked at you when you spoke, his gaze growing fonder the longer he watched you settle on the door, “I do?” he asked slowly, brow raised, half amused.
You may or may not have found out about his little secret a few minutes ago—what he was hiding in his precious cleaning closet that you never really bothered opening yourself because he’d practically banned you from doing anything but lounge around the house ever since you both came home after that first check up.
“You do,” you chuckled, crossing your arms as you glanced past him, eyes bouncing around the soon to be coziest—cleanest—room at home, “Did you plan on ever telling me?”
He set the blueprint down and walked towards you, “If I hadn’t told you about it yet, it means I will eventually.” he said quietly, now holding you by the elbows, his touch gentle, “and eventually means not now.” the smallest of smiles dawned his lips.
You rolled your eyes and dipped your chin as your eyes found his “I’m giving you…a minute—to admit to it. Now.” You said firmly, playfully even.
Levi’s hand slid down to hold both sides of your waist, the small distance between you two was because of your swollen belly keeping him from coming any closer. He hummed, “I’ll think about it.”
You raised your brows in a dare, “...thirty seconds.”
“It hasn’t been half a minute.” He argued, clearly not in a rush to admit to his pretty much open secret.
“Ten…”
“And if I don’t tell you?” Levi negotiated, well, tried to.
You shifted under his hold and pulled away slightly, “You will.”
“I might not.”
“I already know about it, I just want you to say it.” You teased, leaning back to admire your husband’s pondering yet amused face, “If you don’t, I’m revoking your pregnant belly nuzzles permit for the day.” The threat was quite big—devastating really, given that Levi does it at every possible second he could.
He exhaled and looked at the miracle between you two, then up, expression asking you wordlessly if you were serious. You replied with a knowing look—he sighed.
“You opened the cleaning closet, didn’t you?” He said, tilting his head as he watched your smile grow. “You did.” Levi answered for you.
You watched him sigh again, this time, in obvious defeat and you stood there in victory, “Dozens of baby clothes, Levi—dozens.” a pause, you mirrored the tilt of his head and laughed softly, “How long did you plan on hiding all of that?”
Levi inhaled a short breath, the tug on his lip pulling a little more as his ears began to bloom that familiar strawberry hue, “Tch. I was going to wrap them a week before your due date.” He huffed, looking up to the ceiling for a second then back at you, “...until after labor.” He’d finally straightforwardly answered.
You laughed shortly, “You are not going to be able to finish wrapping that many tiny clothes in a week, Levi.”
His hands gripped your waist tighter, nothing painful, but it was firm as his eyes narrowed, “Yeah?” he murmured, “I wouldn’t have to since you already found out.”
You nodded your head at him stating the obvious, “Still, wouldn’t mind having gifts to open after shitting out a damn human.”
Levi scoffed, pulling away slightly as he turned you around, “I know.” He said, finally letting you go. “Come on. Since you already know about it, might as well pick out your favorites.”
The two of you began walking away from the in-construction-nursery, now heading to the cleaning closet somewhere else in the house. You already knew you’d probably call every single one a favorite—Levi knew that too, but the two of you would go through each and every one anyway. When you glanced back at him, he had the look of a man who was quietly exploding, overly excited from the inside—even if his face was as stoic as ever. The glint in his eyes told you enough already.
He'd admitted that he began to buy them in secret ever since you were two months pregnant, you’ve rarely seen your own husband shy about something—so this was really definitely part of the first-time-building-a-family-together-thing.
The entire day was spent in that cleaning closet as well as the space of its hallway.
There were about 74 onesies in the damn closet. Don’t ask how many pairs of tiny fucking socks there were too.
'til next time. cheers, my love
p.s; i'll just take this opportunity to THANK YOU ALL for the amount of notes you've been leaving on my works. seriously T^T, i'm glad people are enjoying my imagines/delusions as much as i do scribbling them. here's to many more to come YIPEEEE

Part 1 part 2
The house always felt different after ten o’clock.
Quieter.
Not silent—silence was impossible when three boys lived under the same roof—but quieter.
The kind of quiet that settled over the house in layers.
The dishwasher hummed softly from the kitchen.
Rain tapped occasionally against the upstairs windows.
Floorboards creaked as the house settled for the night.
And somewhere down the hall—
“OH COME ON!”
Yuji.
Immediately followed by:
“YUJI!”
Your voice carried from the bedroom.
A pause.
Then—
“Sorry!”
Three seconds later:
“THAT’S SO UNFAIR!”
You closed your eyes.
From beside you, Kento slowly turned a page in his book.
Neither of you spoke.
There was no point.
The cycle would simply continue.
Sure enough—
“YUJI.”
“Sorry!”
Again.
The response came so quickly that he was clearly expecting it.
You couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped you.
The sound earned a glance from your husband over the top of his glasses.
A familiar look.
Part amusement.
Part exhaustion.
Entirely parenthood.
The bedroom was warm.
A single lamp glowed from the nightstand beside Kento’s side of the bed, casting the room in soft amber light. Shadows stretched lazily across the walls while the rain-muted world outside disappeared behind drawn curtains.
You had only just finished your shower.
Your hair was still slightly damp.
Your favourite bathrobe hung loosely around your shoulders.
The scent of your shampoo lingered faintly in the room.
For the first time all day, everything felt calm.
At least for a moment.
Kento sat propped against the headboard beside you, one hand holding his book while the other rested comfortably atop the blanket.
Reading.
Or pretending to.
You’d been married long enough to know when he was actually focused.
And when he was simply staring at the same paragraph repeatedly while thinking about something else.
Tonight was definitely the second one.
Downstairs, a cupboard door opened.
Then another.
Then another.
You lifted your head slightly.
Kento didn’t even look up.
“Sukuna.”
It wasn’t a question.
A statement.
The sound of something falling immediately followed.
A pause.
Then silence.
Your husband sighed.
Long.
Slow.
Practiced.
The sigh of a man who had spent sixteen years raising Sukuna.
“I bought snacks yesterday.”
“He found them yesterday.”
“That quickly?”
“He is your son.”
You smiled.
“Unfortunately.”
That finally earned the faintest twitch at the corner of Kento’s mouth.
Not quite a smile.
Close enough.
The house settled again.
Yuji’s shouting became slightly more distant.
Sukuna’s scavenger hunt downstairs continued.
Somewhere down the hallway, Choso’s bedroom remained quiet.
Too quiet.
Your smile faded slightly.
Without meaning to, your gaze drifted toward the bedroom door.
Toward the hallway beyond it.
Toward the room where your middle son had disappeared hours ago.
You hadn’t missed the way he’d barely touched dinner.
Or how tired he’d looked.
Or the way he’d avoided eye contact whenever you asked if he was alright.
Mothers noticed things.
Even when their children desperately wished they wouldn’t.
You curled your legs beneath the blanket.
“Kento.”
The page stopped turning.
A tiny thing.
But you noticed.
Immediately.
“Mm?”
You stared at the rain-speckled darkness beyond the curtains.
Thinking.
Trying to find the right words.
Because saying them aloud somehow made them more real.
“I’m worried about Choso.”
The room fell quiet.
Not awkward.
Not surprised.
Just quiet.
Because Kento already knew.
Of course he did.
After a few seconds, he closed the book.
The soft thud echoed through the room.
“I know.”
The answer came immediately.
Too immediately.
Like he’d been thinking the exact same thing.
You looked over.
His glasses had slipped slightly lower down his nose.
His expression was thoughtful now.
Concerned.
The same expression he’d worn earlier at dinner when Choso left the table.
“He didn’t eat much.”
“No.”
“And he went straight upstairs.”
“Yes.”
You pulled absently at the sleeve of your bathrobe.
“He seems sad.”
The words sounded wrong.
Too simple.
Too small.
There were a thousand ways to describe the feeling sitting in your chest.
None of them felt adequate.
Because Choso wasn’t usually sad.
Sensitive, yes.
Quiet, absolutely.
But there was a lightness to him.
A warmth.
And lately—
Something seemed different.
Like someone had turned that light down.
Beside you, Kento was silent for a long moment.
The rain continued tapping softly against the window.
Down the hall, Yuji yelled again.
Neither of you bothered correcting him this time.
Eventually Kento removed his glasses.
Setting them carefully on the nightstand.
“I noticed it last week.”
You blinked.
“You did?”
“I thought it might pass.”
The honesty surprised you.
Not because Kento wasn’t honest.
Because he usually waited until he was sure before voicing concerns.
If he was admitting he’d noticed something—
Then he’d been worried for a while.
Your stomach tightened.
“He hasn’t said anything to me.”
“No.”
“Or you?”
Kento shook his head.
A frown appeared between his brows.
Small.
Rare.
“I asked if something was wrong.”
“And?”
“He said no.”
You sighed.
Of course he did.
The answer was so painfully Choso.
The boy could be carrying the weight of the world and still insist he was fine.
Another cupboard slammed downstairs.
Then footsteps.
Heavy footsteps.
Definitely Sukuna.
The sound moved toward the stairs.
Then disappeared.
The house settled once more.
You leaned slightly against Kento’s shoulder.
Without thinking.
Without asking.
His arm immediately shifted around you.
Automatic.
Years of habit.
Comfort.
Marriage.
For a while neither of you spoke.
The warmth of the room wrapped around you.
The rain continued outside.
And beneath all of it sat the same shared worry.
A parent’s worry.
The quiet fear that your child was hurting somewhere you couldn’t reach.
Eventually you broke the silence.
“What do we do?”
Kento’s fingers brushed lightly against your arm.
A small reassuring gesture.
The sort he always gave when he was thinking.
“We wait.”
You frowned.
“I hate waiting.”
“I know.”
Another pause.
Then softer—
“But if something is wrong, he’ll tell us when he’s ready.”
You hoped he was right.
You really did.
Neither of you noticed the light beneath Sukuna’s bedroom door still glowing across the hallway.
Or the fact that he wasn’t asleep.
Because while you and Kento worried quietly from your room—
Sukuna was lying awake in his own.
Staring at the ceiling.
Thinking about Choso.
Thinking about school.
And thinking about three boys who were becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.

summary: you and nanami met through mutual friends. you two clicked almost instantly entering into a relationship after only knowing each other for about a month. everything went fine until you realized that he had no time for you anymore. shit hits the fan, you go your separate ways. a couple years have passed, but what happens now that you're being forced to partner with someone in his office building?
contains: overworked! nanami, no nonsense! reader, fem/afab! reader, forced proximity, wee bit of angst, mostly fluff, no smut <3

if someone would have told you a couple years ago that this is how you'd run into your ex-boyfriend, you would have just told them to fuck off and leave you alone. but now that you're here, stepping into the office building that looked all too familiar. you feel your stomach drop when you see the familiar blonde hair peeking over the cubicles. surely he had no idea that you were here, otherwise they would've never invited you. you hear someone calling your name, so you look over and see your new partner for this project.
"glad you could make it!"
they smile at you, and you offer a polite nod and greeting as well. you weren't really sure how the hell you got roped into completing a project with someone from a completely different company, but you were offered a generous bonus, so you accepted. you ducked your head as much as you could without wanting to seem awkward. you follow them to the conference room that, much to your dismay, was covered with nothing but windows. you let out an inaudible sign and take a seat across from your new partner.
you two get to work, finding a rhythm rather easily. this meant good things for you because now the day could go by faster. the days went by faster, the less time you had to spend in that office, and then you'd never have to see him again. at least, that's what you were hoping would happen. but, as always, things did not seem to work out in your favor. you walk into the elevator, ready for your lunch break. the elevator was pretty crowded, as to be expected. you were thankfully tucked away in a back corner, minding your own business like everyone else.
that's when you saw him, that same devastatingly handsome face with just a little less life in it than what you were used to seeing. he didn't notice you, since you were pretty well blocked by everyone else. you were grateful for it, as you watched him the entire time. he stood just like everyone else, not moving his head to look around at all. then, everyone files out in an orderly fashion, all heading to their respective cars. you walk to yours as well, but pause when you see a familiar vehicle parked only a couple spots from yours.
you thought you'd have enough time to duck behind a car, but it was too late. nanami turns in your direction, unassuming, as he's about to get into his car. you can see the instant he freezes in recognition and you feel like disappearing through the pavement right there. when your eyes meet, all the memories come flooding back.
the way you were sitting on the couch, waiting for him to come home. he was three hours late getting home, something that had become the new normal. your heart was racing while your stomach was sinking simultaneously. the apartment was eerily quiet, suddenly feeling cold and devoid of life. when he entered through the front door, he already knew what was coming. he spots you on the couch, muttering a quiet 'hello' before walking toward his office. you follow him, not wanting to put this off any longer.
"we need to talk, kento."
you speak calmly, almost too calmly. he sets down his bag, turning around to face you.
"can it wait? i have more work to do-"
"no, it can't wait. not anymore..."
he falters at your sudden harsh tone, eyes landing on the floor as he braces for impact.
"you're neglecting me. you come home late, and when you do get home, you always come right back here."
he lets out a heavy sigh at your words, running a hand over his face.
"i told you that work's been busy. i can't help if you take that personally, sweetheart."
"i'm not your fucking sweetheart."
you snap at him, having reached your limit of bullshit. you let out a deep sigh, knowing he didn't deserve to see you losing your cool.
"i've tried to talk to you about this several times, but all you do is brush me off. i'm tired of waiting around for you. i'm tired of whatever this has even become between us."
"you mean our relationship?"
he scoffs, already having enough of this interaction.
"oh- is that what you want to call it now? because if it were a relationship, you'd at least act like you give a shit."
that statement hit right where it needed to within nanami. gone was the unbothered, nonchalant side of him that he'd been showing lately, now he was upset too.
"don't you think you're taking this a bit far?"
his tone is more frustrated now, taking a step closer to you.
"no, i don't, actually. i think you're lucky enough that i let it go on this long before i said anything."
he was growing more and more exhausted by the second. he takes off his glasses, leaving them on his desk. he can't even be bothered to look up at you when his next words come out.
"i guess you should stop letting it go on, then."
you felt your breath hitch at his cold words, unsure of what possessed him to become such a dick. you nod slowly, your lips pressing into a thin line as you retreat back towards the doorway of his office.
"so that's all you have to say to me?"
you raise an eyebrow, schooling your expression to mask the hurt you were feeling throughout every inch of your body.
"what else do you want me to say?"
he sighs heavily, loosening the tie around his neck. you scoff at him, turning around and walking out towards his bedroom to get your clothes and whatever else had accumulated in his apartment over the course of your relationship. he watches you leave, not bothering to stop you. he knew he'd fucked up too badly to fix anything in that moment, you needed to get away and put some space between the two of you.
so, he stayed in his office, going back to work as he heard the occasional footsteps throughout his apartment. once he heard the front door shut, not even slam, the guilt hit him like a freight train. he wasn't even sure how things took a turn so badly, but what he did know was that he was going to regret not being there for you likely for the rest of his life.
you turn the other cheek, bravely walking past and heading toward your own car. you feel his eyes on you the entire time, even as you drive away to find a secluded spot to eat your lunch. meanwhile, nanami sits still as a statue in his driver's seat. he wasn't sure if he just hallucinated that short encounter just now. was that really you? you still had that same effect on him that you always did, rendering him speechless at just the sight of you. you looked... horrified... when you saw him, the memory now making his skin crawl. but why, how, what were you doing here? then, it finally clicks.
he'd heard talk around the office of someone coming from another company to work on a project. he knew it was the same company you worked at, but he never thought it would be you that would end up being the alleged partner. he finds himself short of breath, hands gripping the steering wheel despite his car not even being started. he took one final deep breath before starting his car and heading toward wherever he wanted to go for lunch. he knew that he wouldn't be able to focus the rest of the day, much less the rest of however long you'd be visiting his company's office. for perhaps the first time in his career, nanami was concerned about how his work ethic would suffer.
once he returns to the office, he sees that your previous parking space was still empty. surely you were still around, right? you didn't just abandon your project because of him? he shook his head, slinging his bag over his shoulder, glancing down at the little brown bear keychain you'd gotten for him. it matched a pink one that you carried around on your purse. it looked back at him, almost mockingly. he couldn't bring himself to take it off, not when you were the only good memory for him to hold onto anymore. not that he needed to know, but you still kept yours on your purse. the coast was clear as he headed back up the few floors on the elevator.
it wasn't until he was rounding the corner of his cubicle that he felt someone run straight into his chest. his arms shoot out to catch the shoulders of whoever it was that just ran into him. he blinks, catching his breath and then looks down. he sees you before him, wide-eyed and flustered, clearly already having recognized him.
"are you alright?"
the question comes out softer than he meant for it to, but he couldn't help it with you. it was like a gut instinct to be gentle with you. he feels his chest constrict when all you do is give him a short nod before walking around him and back toward the conference room. he turns, watching you walk away. he lets out a deep sigh, walking back to his desk and taking a seat. you make your way into the conference room, pretending not to be shaken by your run-in with nanami. if your partner noticed anything off, they didn't mention it. you survive the rest of the day, heading for the elevator.
you make it on just in time, one of the very last people to fit. the doors were about to close when a long arm manages to hold them open. much to your dismay, your ex-boyfriend is forced to step in and stand right next to you. you both did your best to keep your bodies away from each other, but there was only so much room to give. you feel like you're suffocating at this point, despite the elevator ride being a maximum of 30 seconds long. when the doors open, you make a run for it (not literally). you walk as fast as you can without tripping, toward your car. you walk to where your car... was supposed to be?
"what the fuck?"
you mutter under your breath, looking around everywhere for it. that's when you notice the bright white sign behind where your car used to be parked. do not park maintenance vehicles only. okay, so your day probably could not have gotten any worse. it what you would say if you weren't hearing your name being called out by an all-too-familiar voice. you roll your eyes, feeling the embarrassment through every inch of your body. you can feel the tears stinging your eyes, refusing to face nanami as you hear his footsteps approach.
"happens a lot, management will do anything to rip off employees."
he spoke calmly, standing by your side but not drawing any attention to the obvious tears flowing down your face.
"that's- really fucked up."
you sniffle, wiping at your eyes. you look over, but not in his eyes. you notice his bag hanging between the two of you, gaze landing on the little bear keychain that you'd gotten for him. the tears begin to flow harder, so you turn away from him, trying your best to focus on your breathing. you feel a hand on your shoulder, and if you were any stronger in this moment, you would have pushed him away.
"can i take you home while you call the towing company?"
he asks, hand sliding down your arm against his better judgement. you nod slowly, following him to his car.
"way to show my ex what he's missing, right?"
even he can't supress the bubble of laughter that escapes his throat. you always knew how to ease the tension in situations like these, even if you were a bit odd about it.
"he's an idiot for losing you."
you pause, noting the lack of playfulness in his tone.
"are we really doing this right now?"
you raise an eyebrow at him, turning to face him so he stops walking. he just shakes his head, a small smile appearing on his face before he continues on. you reluctantly follow him, suddenly wishing you'd gotten towed with your car. so, he drives you home and doesn't even ask for directions because of course he remembers where your place is. he purposely took a route to work every day that drove him right past it. he'd never been inside, but maybe things would be different soon. what the hell was he thinking right now? he was sure you wouldn't take him back in a million years after the way he treated you. so when he parks in your driveway, he can only spare you a short glance.
he sees you reach for your purse, and that's when he notices it. the small pink bear on your purse that matched the brown bear on his bag. you really had kept it all this time. the thought made his chest constrict in that familiar way it always did with you. he decides to take that as the sign it was, reaching for your hand.
"forgive me if this is too much, but i want you to know that there hasn't been a single day since we parted ways that i haven't thought about you. that i haven't regretted every last second of the way i acted both before and after that last argument. i let my work consume me, and you suffered all the consequences. i'm sorry that i was never brave enough to admit it before, but i am now. you didn't deserve any of it."
you look at him, unable to fully comprehend many of the words he said because you were distracted by the fact that he looked so emotional and vulnerable when he spoke. you let out a soft sigh, intertwining your fingers with his.
"if i didn't know any better, i'd think you had my car towed on purpose to get me to listen to you."
you smirk at him, rubbing your thumb over the skin of his hand. he shakes his head furiously.
"no, i promise you i had nothing to do with-"
"relax, kento... i'm just giving you shit."
you chuckle at him, leaning in to loosen the tie around his neck.
"wanna come in and see my new place?"
he doesn't need to be asked twice, already shutting off the car and making his way inside with you. once he's inside, he takes a look around at your home. it was just like you, full of life and colorful in all the ways that mattered. he found himself already getting whisked away into a daydream, making a life in this house with you. watching you continue to bloom into the beautiful woman that you were, achieving all your dreams and coming home to tell him about it every night. he spots you, looking out the kitchen window, and the scene takes his breath away.
he walks over to you, bravely wrapping his arms around your middle from behind. he rests his chin on your shoulder, holding you close to him. when you don't pull away or even bat an eye, he turns you just enough to plant a soft kiss on your lips. you return the kiss, turning around fully to wrap your arms around his neck. he gets lost in your mouth, tongues tangling, fitting perfectly with each other. when you pull away, his eyes are already half-lidded with want. you cup his face in your hands, letting out a deep sigh.
"you know this isn't all it will take, don't you?"
he nods immediately, leaning into your touch.
"i know that, sweetheart. but, if you'll have me, i'll do everything it takes and more to earn your love again."
a/n: sorry if this was kinda booty, was not feeling super inspired but i wanted to try it out anyway. i love me some loverboy nanami tho >:3
