What if Spindle had Cole take him back in time... So he could stop Silver and Ivory from ever meeting him :((
Like lore-wise Spindle's magic has become weirdly Elsa coded (in a "don't feel, conceal, also i accidentally permanently disabled my family member whoops") and I feel he has so much guilt because of that
Spindle doing this whole adventure (long story) and then deciding at the end of it that maybe. None of it should happen. That he shouldn't exist. Or more like, his connections with these people shouldn't exist.
Spindle feeling like he made his family's lives worse and not seeing the way everyone appreciates him.

I dunno if Cole would actually let Spindle do this but maybe the situation is this:
Spindle is born. His parents abandon him when he's really young.
He meets Jingle Carillon (who ran away from the schools and the Fairy Queen to see the mainland)
The two explore a lot of the world together before winding up in Briar Valley
Spindle gets Found Familied by Ivory + Silver
Spindle uses his UM and accidentally curses Sonata Draconia to never age (she's permantly like. 10 now). oops
There's no solution to Spindle's out of control magic besides "uhm just give him a bunch of magestones to go through so he doesn't OB and never let him make physical contact with people)
Spindle spends the next few years watching his once-little-sister Poppy grow older than him (+ the rest of his friends, being the draconia 2 and Iteru) and also watching Sonata have to suffer with him in the "never aging" department
Goes to NRC with Lev. Is quickly made Diasomnia vice housewarden.
Goes to school with Cole!! They probably already know each other because of visiting for White Rabbit Fest and the like.
Spindle finds out that Sonata is randomly getting sick and they're not really sure why or what's wrong
Spindle starts freaking tf out and quite frankly is NOT handling this news well
Jingle is also miserable this whole time because she either has to be with Spindle and hide from the other pixies or go back to the pixies. awkward
Spindle meets Winnie and everyone else and blah blah blah
Tricks Cole into taking him WAY back in time. Does not tell him the purpose
Makes it so Spindle and Jingle never go to Briar Valley
All sorts of time-related shenanigans occur, such as
Levi doing the Elsa shit instead
Calista doing some Brave bullshit and turning philene into a dragon (whoops)
Calista doing some Brave bullshit and talking to spirits
Realizes WHY all this is happening (Because of Cole and Spindle) and that her timeline is not the "correct" one
Finding a magic artifact to undo all of the bullshit
Spindle is forcibly reminded that everyone loves and cares about him and values his presence and FAMILY IS FOREVER YOU CAN'T ESCAPE US SEVENSDAMMIT
oh and Cole probably has a concussion from being hit a lot
