it’s literally clear as day… he has a fully patched up backpack decorated with various art crafts like a possum, an American flag and an anarchrist symbol on the front, and on the side of the bag a skull with word “slug” entitled underneath. All on the bag that he carries, during the shooting.

He draws In class. (most obvious giveaway.)

the word doom is written on the big graffiti covered painting in his room, and in general his wall is seen in decor with his own art.

symbolically speaking theres the drawing of an elephant in his room : a nod to the movie’s title and the metaphor 'elephant in the room'
