We aren’t adorable, we’re shinobi. Trained assassins. And Gai is too weak to flattery.

If that’s NOT what’s under there, I don’t know how I keep losing these drinking contests…

One time I hugged Papa for hours, I didn’t let go for his entire mission! I bet I can beat that record with Kakashi, though!

He doesn’t exactly get along with them. He’s not missing much, there’s no one our age that’s actually any good. There’s a really annoying Uchiha kid, but I don’t like him.

It’s nice when someone remembers.

I get along with Ningame, but dogs are still better.

I don’t have any embarrassing secrets to know about in the first place.

I mean― I know that my Papa is the coolest guy ever, but... I’ve never ever heard anyone else say so? Um! Sakumo-san is really cool, too! He’s a jonin and a legend and super strong!

My scarf is for practical reasons, Gai’s scarf is for “fashion”. Or whatever he and Duy think fashion is...

He’s pretty nice, I guess.

He makes me wanna be better AND he makes me feel like I can be better, even if it isn’t on purpose! Even the things I don’t like very much about him, I like a lot!

Kakashi likes reading stuff late into the night and making a weird tent thing to hide how late he stays up from his papa, but my favorite part is just getting to hang out with Kakashi! It’s a chance for tons of neat challenges!

At least it makes me look taller than Gai.

Kakashi’s going to need me to help him someday too, and when he does, I’ll definitely, DEFINITELY be there to save him too! Whether he’s being picked on by bulllies or spies!

My rival can be really passionate at times...! But I appreciate it all the same!
