Hmm not exactly sure how to answer this in regards to whenever your talking about my gem species or my specific gem ocs but I’ll answer both,

For the gem types as a whole, it probably would be a breath of fresh air for some of them but they would also just follow orders from her. Assuming she’s now part of the great diamond authority. And for her son they would probably do the same.

For my special Gem ocs,

My Emerald and spinel would probably be over joyed to have a kinder diamond as well as her son to serve but they still would probably rebel. As for my other ocs I’ve never shown off, my lapis would still be cautious around her, while my lilac pearl would be the same as the others.

I figured it would be fun to draw my gems in what would be their corrupted forms!

Here’s what animals they are meant to resemble,

Cesium- Honeypot Ant

Coral- leafy sea dragon

Cymophane- Cat

Cacoxenite- Dumbo Octopus

Francium- Crane/Secretary Birds

Plutonium- Rhino

On another note, Here’s some unseen gems I’ve done occasionally!

The last 3 are Rhodochrosite, Sphalerite and mercury!

Well they aren’t much different from any other gem at the moment, they mainly are made of all the diamonds essences but just a bit more of whites than the others.

If you mean how are they made in real life, I believe they are just fake glass beads meant to resemble moonstones.

I’m going to try to finish the luna flashes Toyhouse page since a lot of people seem interested in them!

Sorry that I’m answering this late!

But eventually as more gems get introduced in my roster, some gems will have jobs specifically for the kindergartens and such.

I will try to explore more about kindergartens as much as I can ☺️

I kinda thought more about what this ask meant and I’ll try to provide that answer,

In my opinion, every gem (besides pearls and some others) are formed from kindergartens. We can assume so because Pyrope in unleash the light says that “And most important of all. I was made perfect in every way. Ever since the day I came out that wall.”

So I guess in a way that suggests that all gems come from a kindergarten like the quartz.

I made this chart to maybe help it make sense!

Essentially, (in my mind) Each Diamonds essence is their own Color (beside pink cause she also has red) and Gems of that color are made using that particular essence. However to get colors such as orange, Indigo, green, etc, The specific essences must be mixed together to get that color. Adding white diamond essence makes the colors lighter. Adding yellow, blue and pink essences can desaturate colors. Adding all the diamonds makes rainbow gems.

Every mixture can make a spectrum of different colors depending on how much of one essence is used. For example Using 75% yellow diamond and 25% blue you’ll get yellow-green, while 50/50 gives you a pure Green.

Just because they are made with specific diamonds essences doesn’t mean they can’t serve in other courts.

We can see that Nephrite (A green gem) is under pink diamonds court!

*It’s also been stated that white diamond has a heavy influence on Pearl production.*

As for the Metals, they are mostly made from white diamond essences with some having tiny amounts of other diamonds essences as well.

(Beside Certain non grey-ish metals)

Francium's are upper middle ranking scientific Gems, They catalog all discovered elements, compounds and their reactions.

Francium's are a bit snarky and very much know it all's. They believe that since they catalog a lot of scientific information, They know everything, often taking credit. (even if they're not the ones doing the actual discovery) But Don't ever say that to them! they're known to have a short temper and react very explosively!

1. Would you turn every element on the Periodic Table into a gem?

2. What is the highest-ranking gem right beneath and lowest-ranking gem in the entire empire?

as for the questions,

1. Would you turn every element on the Periodic Table into a gem?

All though most of the elements will be turned into Gems, Not all of them will.

The way I determine whenever a Element is a candidate to become a gem is with one of 2 ways,

The element is a metal or classified as a Geological mineral.

2. It can form Crystals.

Elements that are Nonmetals are the least likely to become gems as most of them are gases. However Nonmetals that are considered Geological minerals will be. Most of the Elemental Gems are meant to represent the pure form of that element. That isn't to say that The gases wouldn't be represented by a different mineral! for example, Chlorine on its own, wouldn't be a gem, but is represented by Chlorite. same with Fluorine and Fluorite and Carbon and coal.(diamond in theory could count as representing carbon too)

2. What is the highest-ranking gem right beneath and lowest-ranking gem in the entire empire?

In canon, The highest ranking Gems beneath the diamonds is either the garnets or Emeralds. However in my expansion, the Gems that rank right below the diamonds, would be a Cubic zirconia as they help the diamonds oversee their Courts as well as take their place during important events while the diamond take care of other business.

I know this isn't the most original idea, but I like it! it makes Tons of sense to me as Cubic zirconia's are essentially synthetic gems meant to be an alternative to diamonds, and I can have fun designing The different colored zirconia's because there would be more than just White, Yellow, Blue and Pink! (I think I saw this idea originally from @mysticplies so shout out to him!) The Extra colored Zirconia's would be the top of other Departments, so they would rank lower Than the diamond zirconia's.

as for the lowest....

The lowest ranking Gems would be Rhinestones. (the fake plastic Gems)

Rhinestones are created to give life to decorations. (think wall gem and statue) However when a Gem is sentenced to Being harvested, The rhinestones get replaced by the punished gems.

Most gems don't even acknowledge the fact that Rhinestones exist at all, as they don't considered them to be Gems. all they know is that they could end up as one as punishment. Even the lowest of low gems right above rhinestones in rank, take pride in knowing they aren't Rhinestones.

Rhinestones don't have a set appearance, as they're just created to give life to statues.

Cacoxenite's are lower ranked Assistive gems. They amplify the strength of soldiers on the battle field.

Cacoxenite's are just lovely! they are always supportive of other gems, and offer good advice to those in need. They are bubbly, Friendly and very generous. They don't mean to assist in the harming of other life forms, But that's all they know how to do. Surely however some cacoxenite's enjoy it.

They are based of the expression "a ray of sunshine" as the real gem looked like the sun to me.
