what do i say to someone that i earned so badly knowing that everyone that’s ever poured their love into you doesn’t think it’s deserved

Seeing you again brought me so much clarity and closure. We used to be so in love once. Now we’re putting all of the love we used to give each other into other people. I never thought I’d be so happy watching you be happy with someone that wasn’t me. I hope you’re happy for me too. I will never forget how you loved that sweet 22 year old. You poured your heart and soul into 5 years of me. I will be grateful that you always handled my heart with care. I’m 28 now. I love another and I hope you know that I’m strong because of you. I’m resilient because of us. I’m moving on because your love taught me how to. Life moves in such a way that always leaves me in awe. She’s good to me. She’s even better than you were. I hate to compare but I know she’s better than me too. I’m so happy for us.
