I know I pissed off some people with my political posts. I was called a lot of hateful slurs (oh but racism and sexism is over, right guys?). But the thing is, I’m not a machine that draws cutesy cartoon horses for your viewing pleasure. I am a person. A person who belongs to several minority groups. My safety and quality of life has been threatened by this election and the upcoming presidency. You can be damned sure I was going to speak up about it. You cannot separate an artist from their politics.

I care about women, I care about minorities, I wanted justice and equality for all. I wanted everyone to be treated with common decency and respect. Some people find that controversial.

The long and short of this is if you support Trump-if you supported the liar, the racist, the xenophobe, the rapist, the misogynist who bragged about assaulting women, the man who campaigned purely on hate and fear of minorities….Get. the. Fuck. Off. My blog. My art ain’t for you. You cannot have my art and simultaneously refuse to see me as a person deserving equal respect. You cannot have it both ways.
