“Yeah, I can definitely understand that. I probably got my politeness from both my mom and dad, that’s probably why there’s practically boatloads of it. It’s all good and nice to meet you too, Grace. I’m Thirteen Skellington and yes, I realize how odd my name kinda sounds,” the male rattled off, friendly smile remaining in place as he spoke.

“Right on the money again. The unfortunate truth is that people have become much more selfish nowadays. What I do when I’m trying to remind them is remain polite, yet also be firm on my stance. After all, you’ll have to stand your ground plenty of times in life,” Thirteen responded.

“I unfortunately have to agree wholeheartedly. Odds are, they were taught manners, only to forgo them later on in life. Which honestly sucks, for lack of a better word,” Thirteen remarked. “I find it’s just better to remind them that manners exist and so do people’s feelings.”

“It’s definitely of the highest importance to be polite, no doubt about that. It’s also seriously important to stick together. Unfortunately, politeness seems to be running a bit dry, but I want to change that,” Thirteen rattled off, chuckling nervously a hint as he realized that he too was rambling.

“Exactly, best to be as polite as possible. However sometimes, things still get lost in translation. Things of all types tend to be a hit and miss, whether it be speaking tone or an actual game of darts or baseball, anything like that.”

“Oh, yeah, I’m fine and naturally pale. Coming from HalloweenTown and that whole shebang,” Thirteen replied. “But thank you very much for the concern, it does mean a lot.”
