2. And it made for the 10th anniversary of nightmare

On this day in 1987...39 years ago the world first met...the simpsons...

1st debuting as a series of shorts on the tracey ullman show from '87 to '89 these shorts were so popular that they were turned into the half hour sitcom that we know today :)
